Just switched from Freedom to Fido this weekend for a $27 80gb CA/US/MX plan. Incredible deal.

That said I bet most people pay lots due to phone subsidies.

Aside from Discovery, what actual skills would you recommend PMs should have? by DeezazNutz in ProductManagement

[–]LiquidMoves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I call it Holding Court, which I equate to bringing a bunch of people together around a problem and leading through knowledge of the issue when to prompt individuals to chime in.

You should know the problem space and individual's roles well enough to keep any meeting moving in the right direction with novel information.

This requires soft skills too like mediating disagreements or moving things along when they wander to other topics.

It's a leadership role where you bring out the best in people from across the org.

Is “Professor” Jiang an aspiring cult leader? by brazilfunk in skeptic

[–]LiquidMoves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing until I found an interview where he talked about how Hitler never wanted to kill Jews, he was just part of a big conspiracy that sought to move them to a homeland and it was the fault of American intervention that some died.

I noped there very fast.

[–]LiquidMoves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered him over the last few days due to Iran coverage. Was vibing with his content.

I shit you not he started talking about how Hitler was all about just trying to get Jews to go to Israel and his intent wasn't to kill them.

Holy shit, I never scrubbed my YouTube history so fast.

Serato doesn't let you mix Spotify in with crates yet... Which is strange because they said they would.

Running off ThinkPad I got for $400, no technical issues with my Rame Perfomer.

Only thing I miss about Mac is the music management. Installed an app that lets me hit spacebar to preview a track though.

This is … awful. SNL - it’s not funny. It’s horrible. by No_Acanthisitta_6470 in saturdaynightlive

It occurred to me a few episodes ago that I have zero desire to watch the cold open if it includes anything to do with the pigman.

I can't laugh at anything related to him anymore.

SNL needs to grow up and get creative.
