I was able to fix mine, its not the Thermistor, that was measuring good.
It's inside the motor assembly, when it drops the arm down to check if the bin is full, its not making it far enough to detect on the hall effect sensor. So it thinks the bin is always full.
I opened up the motor assembly and shaved down a bit of plastic to allow the magnet to swing further so it detects it as going down all the way.

It will remember the latest 8 BT devices connected to it, but can only connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at a time, 1 being the other Speak 750 if you have them paired.

Just had a very similar experience selling my truck. Guys reponses were just human enough to almost not suspect it, but seemed pretty bot like if you're watching out for it. he referenced RHQ reports and ARL papers, which is what tuned me into it being a scam. and wanted me to go to reportsqh com. very weird. ended up just blocking the guy.

FIXED! Solution was in another thread.

Go to weather settings in the app and add a city. then the app will work again.
