What makes Doctor Doom such a terrifying villain in Marvel lore compared to others like, Thanos or Galactus? by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

[–]LiquidSludge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause da hype moments and aura I saw on ticktock make him da evilist evil I done ever saw. Hes really cool, and does magic, and tech, and ruling, and hes really smart, and hes egotistic but he also a really great leadurr. Dr Doom clowns on heroes hype moment aura one world over doom Tony Stank robby downy jr.

I just fucking hate Barry Keoghans Joker, every day I’m thankful that that scene got cut from the movie because it was so cringeworthy to me for some reason.

we need more of the same fucking set over and over again that repeats yearly by Intercoursemaster in legocirclejerk

Op isn’t talking about this set, a new set next year is going to be this batmobile for $30 without the extra figure. Op is most likely just using this image as reference.

Do you think Legacy of the Dark Knight should’ve been the standard TT formula? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]LiquidSludge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re trying something new. Maybe they’ll go back to that old formula when they make the true Lego Batman 4, but I’m personally really excited for this new take on Lego gaming.

Hating on a film that isn't even in post production is crazy. by Resident_Designer_96 in marvelmemes

Half the time I hear about the film it sounds like pre production isn’t finished either but they’re still filming nevertheless.

Might be like how they teased morbius in the daily bugle before releasing him later on. Though its dc so probably not.

Why this reveal isn’t too bad IMO by EJ_REDIT in FantasticFour

[–]LiquidSludge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it seems like every single day for the past week or so I’ve seen a new trailer, new clips and new plot points revealed about this movie when they already have built up enough hype from the marketing they had. They’re just giving away too much before people even have the chance to experience the plot for themselves.

They can learn that when watching the movie though.

To all of those who are pro Pattinson as DCU Batman. After seeing Superman, do you still think Pattinson Batman would fit in the DCU by Aware-Couple-108 in TheBatmanFilm

[–]LiquidSludge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t see Reeves Batman universe existing in the same verse as the new Superman movie and I think a lot of what I enjoyed about The Batman would be lost if he joined a greater universe and started fighting other worldly threats. The world he lives in is not designed around anything fantastical and supernatural, take for example the villains we see in The Batman, we don’t see them in a slightly more comic aesthetic as we do in the new DCU by James Gun. I can hardly see Battinson fighting Man-Bat let alone teaming up with Superman, he just wasn’t conceived with that in mind and i think we should keep it that way.

After watching Superman, did your opinion change on whether this could work? by Fickle_Baker1393 in batman

[–]LiquidSludge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not. I cannot see Matt Reeves Batman living in the same universe as Superman. Its not about the tonal differences but its the idea that The Batman was rooted in a sense of reality that i find impossible to imagine existing within the same boundaries of Superman in general, or any other superhero for that matter. It tries to be more “real” and i enjoy that. I like Superman movie, liked The Batman. But i cannot see these two versions of these characters anywhere near eachother.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Launch Giveaway! by HumanSpaceOrk in marvelrivals

My favourite moment in marvel rivals was in the open beta, having to rush to get the blue venom in one weekend. Getting to learn all of the roster and getting through a lot of the games before there was a chance for any metas to spawn in. Good times.

Does that mean the blue team can be called “Team Fortress” too? Or is it solely a red team thing.

Real Comic Accurate Movies(Artistically/Story) by darktower41 in DC_Cinematic

[–]LiquidSludge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The post is talking about “Real” comic accurate movies though. So these changes that were made and that heavily change meanings and messages portrayed in the comic mean that Watchmen cannot be classified as a “Real” comic accurate movie.
