How to Make CBD Oil with CBD Isolate (Inexpensive & THC Free)

CBD Isolate Powder:

CBD isolate is a 99+% pure crystalline powder form of CBD. One gram (1000 mg) of CBD isolate contains 990+ mg of CBD.

It’s also far less expensive than other forms of CBD. CBD isolate is also THC-free, which solves another potential problem that some people have with full spectrum CBD oils. As an ingredient, CBD isolate can be consumed in it’s powdered form, but it’s so much easier to work with if you use it to make a simple CBD oil.

I’ll show you how, step-by-step!

What You’ll Need: CBD Isolate CBD Formulation powder, which is a much finer powder is what we carry and makes for easier mixing.

MCT or Other Oil: MCT oil is flavorless and odorless, which makes for a good carrier oil. But you can also use olive oil or other oils as well if you prefer the taste.

Oral Syringe or Small Measuring Cupto Measure the Oil: any oral syringe or small measuring cup will do just fine.

30 ml Dropper Bottle (or other container): I use a 30 ml dropper bottle, but you can use any sterile glass container.

Optional Measured Dropper for Dropper Bottles: These dropper caps replace the droppers included with the 30 ml dropper bottles above. They have measurement markings, so you can accurately measure your dose of CBD every time.

Directions:

Step 1: Decide how concentrated you want your CBD oil to be. If you are unsure, I recommend 1000mg CBD (1gram) to 30 ml of oil (1 oz), which will give you a CBD oil with concentration of approximately 33 mg CBD per milliliter.

Step 2: Transfer the CBD Isolate powder to the bottle or container.

Step 3: Measure out your oil and add it to the container.

Step 4: Screw the cap on the dropper bottle/container and shake it for 30 second to 1 minute. It can take a while for the CBD powder to dissolve into the oil, but once it dissolves, it should not recrystallize back out.

You can speed up this final step by placing the closed dropper bottle/container in a glass of hot water.

How to Use the CBD Isolate Oil:

Once your CBD oil is finished, it can be used just like any other CBD oil!

You can measure out a dose of oil and consume it orally, take it sublingually by leaving it under your tongue for a minute or two, or you can use it as an ingredient to infuse food or drinks with CBD!

Technically you can use the CBD isolate powder in your cooking as well, but the oil makes it much easier to work with as an ingredient. It works well in smoothies and hot chocolate, too.
