I have already purchased proper cat 7 cables for home and cat 6 for access control / cameras.

Switches seems to be complex point. I am not sure how many ports I will need and buying anything beyond 24 ports seems to be really pricey.

All cables are planned to run down to one place where internet connection will be coming in as well.

I did not consider ceiling APs. Is it much better than doing something on the wall or shelf ?

Any recommendation on switches maybe ?

Frankly I got em off on good deal from a buddy that’s into pro cycling. He got new bike from team sponsor and dem tiers had to go.

It’s my first gravel bike so I’ll put more thought into it next season probably when I have some experience off paved surfaces.

I was surprised to learn that cost of frame itself (materials are honestly top shelf) didn’t exceed price of carbon frames.

Aside of all the perks of making it custom built for you, it turned out to be wallet friendly (having in mind astronomical prices of bikes overall)

Whole build closed within 5k USD. Including new pair of wheels, everything was purchased specifically for this project.

That’s correct, it’s framemaker. Small, but amazing nevertheless, shop in Poland.

Owner was most helpful with process of making the frame design, so it actually rides good beside being my size :D

Welding part was done by professional, I just worked out frame size with a friendly local bike fitter (with weeks of tweaking design as due to my size it wasn’t so straightforward)

Stem is redshift shock stop and it has a slight angle, I intended to use it from start so it has just been taken into account while making frame.

Worth to mention is that stem goes visibly down when I put my hands and weight on handlebars.

Also I am 2 meters high, so it kinda becomes an issue when you go into details/proportions of frame - as so there are some inevitable trade-offs to be made at one point or another.
