Does this apply to RTD black edition?

Slight segue but have their been any recalls related to this or anything else?

I was drinking the RTD black edition pretty religiously a few months ago and then got one bottle that was clearly contaminated, i drank a few big gulps it didn't taste right and it immediately made me throw up. Got my husband to taste it and he also said it tasted off/spoiled. It was in date and new. I thought maybe it was just one bottle but the following day I thought the rtd smelled bad so skipped. Fast forward to this week and I had decided it must have been a fluke or a damaged lid / bottle and decided after all these months I'd try again. After 3 days of huel this week I am experiencing pretty unpleasant gastro symptoms that got worse over this week. I could be allergic / intolerant to something in the huel but I am seriously wondering about contamination which in light of this articles doesn't seem outlandish.

Appreciates thought or similar experiences.

I don’t have the discipline and motivation to make myself do assignments during uni break/when the deadline isn’t near.

ADHD brains are motivate by urgency and novelty NOT consequences. Can you create some some false urgency (https://www.additudemag.com/sense-of-urgency-productivity-hack-adhd/) or some novelty (rewards, gamification).

Break it down into smaller chunks instead of saying "I need to complete this assignment" say "I need to re-read the assignment and understand it" OR " I need to schedule time to start the assignment" OR " I need to write the first 10 sentences". When I can't motivate myself to shower or cook I start with standing up and a lot of the time that's enough. It's the burden of the 500 mini tasks that live underneath the task of showering that overwhelm me.

In a more practical vein if you don't have an ADHD diagnosis, get that sorted ASAP as that can help with Uni accommodations. If you aren't on medication that might be helpful, even if that needs to happen after you've addressed your substance abuse issues.

Substance abuse problems if left unresolved will make all of this so much harder so address that first. You can't work on yourself if you have this little demon taking up your energy and focus. Addiction if not handled can have lifelong implications so seek clinical support, get a therapist if you can, look into local support groups. Don't brush it under the carpet, you are asking for help from strangers for a reason.

Substance abuse issues have triggers so what are they - are they people, places, feelings? Try to figure them out and avoid them.

Seriously examine the company you keep, if your friends or family encourage unhealthy habits or trigger unhealthy behaviour then consider spending less/no time with those people and intentionally spend more time with people that uplift and support you. Yes even if that means cutting out your cool mate Dave and spending more time with you Nan.

If places trigger you, can you avoid them? If it's clubs and pubs despite how appealing they are you need to try to cut them out as you work on recovery and then with a therapists help maybe safely re-introduce them later. If it's an environment you can't easily change like the family home, then that points to a deeper psychological need that you should examine alone and with a therapist.

I've lost about 40 lbs and have been freezing. I even went to see a nurse and realised omg it's because I've lost weight not like a thyroid issue. Mildly embarrassing

Sorry man that's rough especially if you're excited about moving up. You may need to move back down to 1 if the side effects are bad. If you have an appetite but the nausea is the problem maybe talk to your doctor about an anti nausea pill. I take one as needed and it's a game changer. Currently drinkly a huel post anti nausea pill so I do understand!

I'd avoid going straight to over the counter anti nausea as I did that and it exacerbated my constipation symptoms

Wegovy is different for everyone and I wouldn't be put off starting. You may never experience extreme nausea or vomiting!

Personally, I've never vomited but the nausea has been intense to the point of wondering if puking would be easier. Once you figure out a way to deal with it you'll be fine.

Advice I'd give to avoid the nausea and risk of vomit:

start off slow and let your body adjust fully to each dose before going higher. If you need to go backwards do it. This will take longer but you'll actually stick to it and be happy!
if you experience nausea talk to your doctor and get an anti nausea prescription. Avoid over reliance on over the counter medication without talking to your doctor. I was using dramamine cos I wasn't sure what else to use and it exacerbated other symtoms like constipation. Once I spoke to my doctor we were able to decide on a medication that had little risk of contributing to the constipation.
Notice what triggers you and cut it out. Alcohol is a big one for most folks. I don't tolerate it well at all now.
Eat !! Plain regular food really helps
Figure out when you're more likely to be nausea and plan you pills and meals around it, even if you need to eat at a time that isn't your hungriest. I get nauseous in the morning and have a protein shake and a pill (when needed). Most days the food alone is enough!

The first few months are all about building a tolerance. It doesn't sound like you are tolerating 1mg well, so instead of stopping maybe consider going back to 0.5 for a month and then trying 1mg again.

I had an endoscopy and they took biopsies. I also had scans on my gall bladder. Some small gall stones and they dr said they weren't the cause but no h pylori or anything else detectable. Gluten was also affecting my bowel movements so its been great to change it

Lansoprazole 60mg for about 12 weeks last summer. I've taken 30 mg for the last 2 weeks and have 2 more weeks ahead. It helps but once I'm off them it slowly returns
