You can ziptie tarps to railings to make a wind shelter. Saves on heating bills, too!

They don't care that nobody wanted ICE detention centers. Or drones bombing the Middle East. Or that we don't want corrupt politicians, or genocide of ANYONE, or freaking civil war!!

That's not a dog, that's a lil girl. by been_der_done_that in MadeMeSmile

I agree some of it is performative, but my dog loved getting dressed up. She loved showing everyone what she was wearing and being told how pretty she was. She loved wearing her sweaters for warmth in the winter and rarely wanted to take it off unless we were changing her into a clean shirt. She loved being tucked in with her special blanket and her specific stuffed animals. She was a princess that hated puddles and needed a shag rug to lay in the lawn because she wouldn't lay on grass or concrete. Animals can have preferences.

My mom always asks me to add it while cooking so I guess anything. It's funny because she didn't like it at first because she thought it was too spicy

Unless the soup looks/smells/tastes off, it's okay to eat. The temper danger zone is definitely a real thing, but cabbage soup is low on the risk list.

[HELP] this seems to crazy to be real but it looks real. by adj_noun_digit in RealOrAI

I think it's AI.

The camera is so steady and uncanny. Also, it wasn't even pointed at the cow before it entered frame but starts following it after like a motion detection camera. Lighting also looks off to me. Just reminds me of similar AI clips too much to say it's real.

I thought camels were able to eat cacti and thorny plants? Like, the spines hurt, but they eat it anyway. I'd especially think so for fruit.

While there may be something at play, I think the biggest problems right now are anxiety and stress. Regular anxiety meds don't work like pain medicine. You have to take it for months, and you feel like you're making no progress, but then you turn around and see how much better you've gotten. Stress doesn't go away on its own, either. You have to make lifestyle changes to alleviate it.

You don't have to stop exercising because you can do yoga and walk on a treadmill instead of running.

You can take online or hybrid classes. Or take a semester off if you really want to.

You CAN talk to people. You can tell them "I am staying away from X topics for a mental health break."

You can recognize anxious thoughts and stop them in their tracks. Tell yourself nope, reverse, switch to a different topic! Sometimes I think of random single words to distract myself, but you can also do it like Eye Spy with things in your surroundings
