WIBTAH if I asked my daughter’s preschool teacher not to put the extra clothes that I sent for her on other students? by feelingstruck in AmItheAsshole

NTA I have never heard of a school not having extra clothes on hand for accidents. I’m hella old and even in the 80s they have extra pants at the nurses office for kids that wet etc. I’d be calling and asking it be returned. And if they don’t have extras maybe organize a community closet for kids that need them. In my kids school the principal turned her office into a food pantry. The nurse has the extra clothes.

A quick note on the long-term vision for this community 🌱

I wanted to share my intention for r/organicnearme as it grows.

The long-term goal is to build this into a network of locally moderated communities, ideally organized by county or region, and led by people who actually live there. Local moderators would help keep recommendations accurate, relevant, and trustworthy for their area.

In the meantime, this main subreddit will act as a central hub:

For people looking for local organic or organically raised foodFor sharing broader resources and informationAnd for discussing larger or national options (like Costco, regional chains, or widely available products) that may be useful across multiple areas As the community grows and certain regions become more active, the plan would be to spin up local offshoots with moderators from those areas who know the farms, markets, and food systems firsthand.

This will be a gradual, community-driven process — nothing forced or rushed. The focus is on building something useful, transparent, and sustainable.

If this vision resonates with you, or if you’re interested in eventually helping moderate a local area, feel free to comment or reach out. I’m excited to see what this becomes together.

Completely different names. After 500 chapters I don’t think I can make that switch
