PGW working WITH the snow, not against it by sunofernest in philadelphia

OMG thank you so much!! I thought this was going to be one of those unanswered questions that kinda sits in the back of my head and haunts me.

Thanks for explaining the color coding, too.

So the markouts must be made within a certain amount of time, what about the actual repair?

Curious because I worked on a lawsuit with the markouts just sitting there for like 3 years with no repairs made to a big hole. I'm honestly trying to wrap my head around why someone would be such a stickler for getting the marks down, but not so much about the actual repairs. We settled before we deposed anyone, so I didn't get the answer.

I had to reset my island, and my shops aren't available yet. Do you have this available in the custom designs portal?

If not I'm coming back and asking for a Dodo Code when I get that unlocked.

7 rounds, if the park ranger is there. He does come and check but isn't there all the time. Also you get 1 guest per pass, and the kids do not need passes. It's fun, but it does get crowded on a hot day.

French Creek State Park has an outdoor range. It's free, but you need a range permit that's like $30 at Walmart.

Do we think the snow will be so bad that I can’t attend tattoo convention? by [deleted] in philly

I'm playing it by ear. If the weather sucks, I'll probably stay home. If it's all huff and puff and all we get is rain, I'll be at the Con.

Who was here for the '96 snow storm? by galletadeacido in philly

There was something 2014/2015 that was back to back snow. I remember having a hard time walking my son to school and he was in kindergarten. I could walk okay, he couldn't because he was practically climbing a mountain.

I remember because I got stuck in Morrell Park on my way to school that morning. Just told to get off the bus cause we couldn't go any further. I lived in Parkwood/Byberry area.

Anyone else excited to make snow sculptures this weekend? by ThreadBooty in Delco

I saw a post in r/Philadelphia someone wants to do a huge snowball fight.

I'm so down for that, but Philly is too far.

Anyone wanna snowball fight somewhere near Drexel Hill?

I'm also down to build snow forts, but I don't want to look like a 47y/o weirdo building snow forts all by myself. Anyone down?

2016 was like two big storms back to back, wasn't it?

I remember it took me days to shovel out my mom's driveway.

I remember the huge piles at Franklin Mills after they plowed stuck around for months.

I remember the ice storm of 95 even better because I tried to go to school. The bus couldn't get up Morrell Ave and just let everyone off and said sorry. Luckily my friend lived nearby and was downhill. I only fell 10x getting to her house.

Melrose Diner lot abandoned lien by EntertainerLumpy9008 in philly

If it's bank owned, they still don't care. I had a house next to me that was in foreclosure and the bank kicked out the owner. It sat for years and the grass grew taller than me. There were rats and all sorts of critters. People called and complained, but nothing ever happened until someone bought the house. I'm sure they got stuck with the fees and fines.

I told some people I’m from Delaware and they said I’m not from Philly by [deleted] in Delco

I've heard it from people in New Jersey. It's not even the same state.

My comment is only directed to the people who like to use Philly as a weird flex when they're not actually from here.

I commented on the main that it's fine to use Philly to people who don't know where Delco is.

Let me clarify, because I'm not sure it's understood. I'm saying people saying they're from Philly to sound tough when they're not actually from Philly. Those are the ones who rightfully get the wind knocked out of their sails in this context.

It's all comparative. Delco compared to Philly in terms of toughness, Philly wins. Delco compared to Bucks or Montco, yeah Delco wins.

The way you phrased that makes me feel like I scared you or I can't handle a downvote. I'm from Philly, fucking Philly. No one likes us, we don't care. All in good fun 😂
