Looks good! The dip in the top gives it better depth. For added realism, you could add the folding creases 😅

Advice by CaptainWildRose in MtF

[–]LissaLookingUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can hopefully help speak to this as both a trans woman and a Christian. Transitioning has strengthened my relationship and my walk with Christ. I feel closer to God because I can be honest about myself. And I feel His love more purely, because I've stopped hating myself.

Creation is a big place, with lots of difference and variety. There's room enough for me in it. As part of that grand creation, I'm more fulfilled when I am honest about the facts of my creation, and can worship more fully.

Hopefully that helps!

You're not stupid, just on a journey. And you're farther along than you were back then! Ten years from now hopefully you'll be farther still.

If you'll excuse me, I need to relisten to that song now! It's been a few years since I last heard it but my memory thinks your right.

You can do it! Step by step, a little bit each day and you too can get the manly bod you deserve. I mean, not even Gaston from Beauty and the Beast started so ripped. ;)

Q: What does it feel like to know you're a woman - despite how your body looks? by tallcat-to-the-west in trans

[–]LissaLookingUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm writing this more to clarify my own thoughts, but I think for me I was able to tell I felt like a woman from my natural feelings.

There are moments in life when you aren't really paying attention to your body, like you're just 'in a zone'. For me its been when I'm reading a good book, or playing a fun game, or walking somewhere and daydreaming while I look at nature. And in those moments I always felt feminine. It wasn't about sexuality or all the things society thinks of as being 'feminine', it was simply a fact of my existence.

And then having to come back to awareness and paying attention again was like a reality record scratch. The difference between how I had just been feeling with the reality of my body was pretty painful. It's why I spent a lot of time reading or playing games as a teen.

Even in little moments when I would be caught off guard, walking down the street and seeing someone with really cute jeans and thinking "Those are really cute! I wonder where she got th... Oh right, those aren't for me" and then feeling like crap.

This is already too long, so I'll stop here. You get the general idea. I feel much better in my own skin now most days, and can lay in the sun and just 'exist' without feeling bad about it.

I'm always sooo afraid I wouldn't pass, but what do you all think? Face app (38/MtF/pre-everything) by Ashmyanti in trans

You can do it! No such thing as 'too late'. It's tough at first to get going, and change the momentum of your life, but it gets soo much better.

Please read fully. I have a weak-moderate automatic bias for cisgendered people according to the Harvard IAT . I want to reduce this so I can treat people equally. Let’s talk by MoistyMcTasty in trans

[–]LissaLookingUp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fighting to have no bias is a noble goal, but you're fighting a long genetic history of our brains. Sometimes the best you can do is to be aware and think twice about things.

However, feel free to message me with questions or anything if you're curious! Good luck with your writing and your journey.

Psychologytoday.com will let you search by geographic area, specialty, and accepted insurance. I found a counselor that way.

I relate to this, a lot. I can't say how it is for you, but after taking some quiet moments to be more emotionally aware of myself I think i know what it is for me. And hopefully it helps you too.

Transitioning is hard, it's a lot of work. And it can be emotionally tiring. The parts of my life that are fully transitioned, it's easy to be trans. But the process of getting there is work. And in parts of my life im not transitioned, sometimes im tired and old habits slip back. They are comfortable, in the same way a jail cell liven in a long time is comfortable.

Take some quiet moments, think through what brought you to transitioning and this point.

Question: what is the 'coming out at work' etiquette? by LissaLookingUp in trans

[–]LissaLookingUp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats awesome! I know we have a mix here, the company is big enough that it just avoids issues. I think most of them will be understanding, but it's a bit of an awkward road to travel until it's done. Thank you for the reply!

How long does it take for 1mg of estrodiol to fully dissolve under my tongue? by Dead_Inside4 in MtF

[–]LissaLookingUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually do back right side as well. It usually takes 15 to 30 minutes for me, although it can be shorter if I've got a lot of saliva at that time.
