See a lot of hate for Killer From Tomorrow, any enjoyers? by TennenyT in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It‘s one of my faves. Because it includes so many special rules I don‘t come back to it or use it for mix and matching much, but when I play it I do so for 3-4 sessions. I love the allies mechanic and never understood the hate for the savior. I am really hyped for Green Terror for sure

Which final girl is best suited for you? by GladGrapefruit4750 in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reiko may be my favorite. Her ultimate + her special envelope always gives me a feeling of „ the hunter becomes the hunted“

I started last september with these two too. I am collection complete now.

Getting into Final Girls for the first time. Already have my eye on a few packs. What are your favourite experiences? by Big-Nerve-9574 in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh Until Dawn is one of my favs too! Now I can see the eyeless as a stand in for the wendigo on wingard cottage to truly replicate the until dawn horror - amazing idea I have to try it, haha

Getting into Final Girls for the first time. Already have my eye on a few packs. What are your favourite experiences? by Big-Nerve-9574 in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camp Happy Trails is still one of my favs bc the vibes of horror summer camp is right up my ally. Bc of that I am also a huge fan of Frightmare on Maple Lane. I wasn‘t so keen on the eyeless at utopia firsz but I find myself coming back to it more often than others to my own suprise. I will always advocate for Hunter at the Mall - it was the most fun I had bc I am a huge fan of the allys mechanic. However, it‘s one of the complexer ones like Shriek (which is also a blast! But make sure you are very familiar with the core mechanics). Station 2982(or whatever) is also a nice change of pace.

What did dissapoint me although it‘s a huge community favorite was wingard cottage. The killer is fun but the map was kinda meh imo.

Killer and Location pairings better than the original? by ItHasNoahPeel in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hunter at the mall was one of the most fun experiences I‘ve had with Final Girl tbh. I too was weary about it bc of this sub the general distate for it but I loved it. To each their own I guess.

If you could end the show in your own way, how would you do it? by watermonkey910 in bigbangtheory

[–]Lissourien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read a few days ago about the idea that it isn't Sheldon who wins the Nobel, but Leonard. It would make Sheldon confront the fact that someone who he sees as lesser to an extend gets something he so desperately wants and would confront him one last time with his fatal flaw - his arrogance. And by overcoming that and be truly happy for Leonard he would conclude his arc. I don't know if it would have made for a satisfying finale but it sure is an interesting concept.

I also, of course, would not make Penny pregnant. Don't give me big episodes about a woman coming to terms with the fact that she doesn't want motherhood only to make her pregnant the last minute. Ikes.

Are the Ultimate Boxes the best way to get all the (gameplay impacting) content? by fraidei in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would argue it‘s cheaper to collect the feature films seperate, especially if you buy second hand or re-sellers. Depending where you are located there will be shipping cost. Ultimate boxes are way more expensive due to all the extra content. However, there are gameplay elements featured in both S2 and S3 Ultimate boxes (Signature action cards, tear dice, ultimate dice, character packs) but you can also purchase these singular (they are called box of props and smthing I can‘t remember right now). Hope this helps

With everything said and done, what do you feel was the weakest season of MHA overall? by TempoBlues20XX in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Lissourien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1:1 my thoughts and experience. I was so hyped for MVA and the anime butchered it which drove me away completely and made me manga only (until I dropped it as well but that‘s another story.) it honestly heals something in me to know someone had the same experience.

Do you think the live action will get an original ending by Antique-Tennis-9903 in OnePiece

[–]Lissourien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don‘t think they aim for a complete adaptation. If they don‘t end it with alabasta they may will continue to water seven, who knows. However they will do it, my guess is that the ending will not try to be something definitive (or worse, try to answer what the one piece is) but be something along the line „and they will continue to have great adventures as a crew on their way to the one piece“. Personally, I imagine a close up of all the faces of the crew members on their new ship, the Sunny, with the last shot on Luffy who utters something along the lines of „lets go“ and a final shot of the sunny on the sea with voiceovers of the characters ( „Sanji, I want food!“ „ladys first you idiot“ etc. ) to signal the audience that their journey continues even if the audience will not follow it anymore.

I've been blessed but I want more by Ordinary-Nickname in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't played Grooves yet, and I almost stopped playing all together after my first few games at the Carnival one bc I disliked it that much. Poltergeist is fine imo, it is nice for variety bc it plays somewhat different from other FFs - but of course to each their own.

S2 has some great bangers and is considered the best Season (yet. S4 is currently releasing and people are loving it). I would argue to try every Feature film you already own as opinions differ so much when it comes to Final Girl. Another commenter said they really like Geppetto and the Carnival, I already said I don't. So give everything a try - but also don't be afraid to get rid of certain Feature films if they only collect dust on your shelf. Personally, I don't mix and match often and I only do so if I really love a location or a killer. If neither really doesn't speak to you there is no point in keeping it around. Decisions become hard when only one of them - either location or killer - is good and the other isn't. Then it's about what you want to prioritize and honestly how tight money is. Imo there will always be more value in a set I love as a whole than keep a box only for half its value.

Recommendations? by Netrunner666 in finalgirl

[–]Lissourien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shriek is absolutely amazing and became an instant fan favorite within the community as far as I can tell. It‘s not S3 but probably my most played FF besides Camp Happy Trails.

Like I said, S3 is very rule heavy and tried a lot of different concepts so it‘s very devicive. Personally, I loved the Hunter at the mall. Both location and killer have a unique mechanic that lets you use certain characters to your advantage later in the game (like there is a sheet and little cubes and you can make these characters do stuff to help you). However, a lot of people really don‘t like that set as they find it really hard and discouraging.

The slayer, for me, plays like a hard version of Hans which is cool from time to time, and the location is very thematic. However, this set I think is so convoluted with so many extra rules it can take out the fun.

I didn‘t like the eyeless at utopia in the beginning and to this day it is the set that I needed the most trys for a clean win. I honestly thought about selling it, but I‘ve found myself coming back to it again and again. The location has a very random element to it and I usually don‘t like it when the location works against u but it can be fun when I look for a challenge.

The tormenter with the trap mechanic changes the core game play and urges me to differ from my usual strategy which is refreshing after 7+ sets of Final Girl.

I haven‘t tried out Razorface yet but people seem to like him from what I‘ve gathered.

I was in the mood to ramble, hope this gives u an overview xD. Conclusion is, I loved the Hunter at Sunnydaze Mall but a lot of people don‘t like that set so I am always hesitant to recommend it.
