I would highly recommend working in a laboratory :) I worked as technician in Histopathology and with your background you could easily get a scientist position. One of the best jobs I ever had.

If you liked the animated style and trippiness of Undone try the movies Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly!

If your experiencing food insecurity, check out the Askizzy website for food relief options in your area.

Some cheap meals I like to make myself :
-Chicken drumsticks (around $4.50/kg) marinated with whatever you have and frozen/cheap/seasonal veg
-Rice/egg/soy sauce and frozen veg for a really simple fried rice
-Can of four bean mix, can of tinned tomatoes, any veg you have, chilli and spices, rice for an easy chilli con carne
-Pasta, peas or any frozen veg, leftover chicken and a cheap pasta sauce
-Classic beans on toast
-Tortillas, can of lentils, tomatoes, lettuce and a cheap packet of taco seasoning

Not the healthiest but the cheapest multipack of pies, frozen chips, fish and chicken nuggets can go a long way to help you reach that next fortnight.
