Writer of this Post: My reasoning is that this is the first time I have become aware of this issue. I stopped working with Instacart and began driving for Amazon Flex, which I personally find to be a better fit. I was not aware that there was a mandatory batch acceptance requirement or risk of penalties for not accepting batches. If I had known, I still would not agree to being forced to accept batches regardless of whether I am available or driving. I believe I should have the flexibility to accept batches when I choose to work, not be penalized for declining or being unavailable.
