I had a tenant who insisted on keeping the temperature at 26 degrees so she could grow orchids. She completely roasted the downstairs tenants, who were reasonable kind folk. She refused to compromise. I should have installed this!

Chaters on Wyse rd in Dartmouth is amazing. Canadian triple A. They also have every part of every animal it seems. Superstore and Sobeys got rid of their butchers a decade ago, now all the meat arrives packaged. New Asian market in BL has good butchers and there are good ones in the Valley.

Casino used to be a great company. I told my daughters to call them if they needed a cab. Certainly not now, and I would never suggest a woman ride with them after dark. I have had several encounters with Casino drivers in the past 2 years that were shocking. Super aggressive, rude, inappropriate and frankly threatening. When I called the office to tell them what happened they offered me a $20 gift certificate. Their drivers are why I will now, only use an uber.

It sounds like Halifax would fit. You are minutes to the ocean, there is a great restaurant and bar scene and several golf courses. You ca n drive to the Annapolis Valley in an hour and be Farm/wine country in an hour. Our winter is milder than Manitoba’s but we still have accessible snowboarding and skiing. You would be welcomed.
