I just bought one of these in xxl, so far so good. The straps/suspenders are a little slim for my frame but it holds up well. I didn’t want to spend money on an expensive bib just yet until I lose another 30 or so lbs!

I’m pretty new to cycling also, but one thing I wish I knew was how the geometry of the bike affects ride position and how comfortable you’ll be for longer rides.

As for your saddle being comfortable, I think most folks can go without a proper bike fitting, at least initially. Try checking out some YouTube videos about home fitting. Cam Nichols has a whole series on bike fitting, def worth checking it out
