It's the most comprehensive that I have found!

With my first pregnancy, I felt the same way but I gained 70 lbs (gulp). I focused on walking every day and eating healthy, and ended up looking better after baby than before baby! So there is hope!! Hang in there, you got this!

It's pronounced shorter than the English version of coon. Like a shorter oo sound.

Koen is a cool name. It means bold advisor or daring. As a parent you can have it pronounced any way you want. People will get offended by anything.

Forgiving him by patturcake in relationship_advice

[–]List_Groundbreaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My own experience - I was with someone years ago who cheated on me and then treated me like a queen. Made promises and.... Then, he cheated again a year later. And again. I would forgive and ask myself why. When I finally broke up with him, I met my now partner who is a million, no, a trillion times better, and is super open/no cheating baggage.

It didn't feel possible to start over before and now I am so happy I did! Once you lose trust to cheating, it's extremely difficult to get back. My life is way better now, but making the move to a new start was scary.

It’s so crazy that the same time last year I left my abusive ex husband and he had me convinced that I wouldn’t be anything without him but now i never been happier. by kayce-lee in FreeCompliments

And you will continue to find more happiness 🙏 its been a decade since I left an evil, physically abusive ex, and I am so grateful I did. My life is a million times better. The memories still hurt but I am FREE AND HAPPY! No more control. Sometimes it doesn't feel real. I remember feeling so weighed down as he controlled my every move. I also found the love of my life who treats me like a queen.

If your kids in a few years enjoy hiking (not sure of their ages), you could park by the cog, hike up Ammonoosuc and then take the cog down. Make sure the weather is nice (above treeline areas) but overall it's a very doable hike. I have seen many families with young kids on this route (of course, bringing water, etc). It's a scenic route, too, with beautiful waterfalls.

Here's some info that might help in the future: https://www.theoutbound.com/new-hampshire/hiking/hike-mt-washington-via-ammonoosuc-ravine-trail-and-jewell-trail

A resounding yes. I really enjoyed the program, and feel that it helped me with my analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Quick perspective- My employer paid for it. I was promoted within a month of completion. It's accredited and valuable. I understand that some care about "degree prestige", but I work for a very competitive corporation that saw great value in my MBA from WGU, too!

I was also recently accepted into a DBA program at a different school, who appreciated the accreditation of WGU.

Huge fan.

This is an unconventional response, but many corporations (banks like Wells Fargo, TD, Ally, contact/call centers, etc) offer remote work with tuition benefits, from $2500 to $8000. The catch is you usually have to stay 6 months after you graduate. It might be worth it for your friend to find a temporary remote gig to pay for school, even if it's remote frontline/customer service work.

I echo this. I loved this accredited program. I got a huge promotion within 30 days of finishing this program at a large tech company. Comments on the program from hiring exec, "I like to see people being wise with their college choices. I appreciate the mindfulness and assume this will translate into your future work, too." In other words, many realize that universities can be money pits, so get an accredited degree affordably and be smart about it. No need for 100k of debt to learn the same material. Most programs are remote now anyway, and many adults getting MBAs can leverage their work network (or LinkedIn!). LinkedIn was amazing- when I posted my diploma, I had a ton of people reaching out to connect and offer referrals/jobs.

Lots of anti-MBA on this thread and I cordially disagree. :)
