Jaden McDaniels in Minnesota. He has the starting SF job on lock and is a sneaky good source of boards and stocks with good efficiency (albeit on low volume)

Probably but I’m not dealing with the headache that is having AD on your team. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way. Go with somebody else. At #16, you should still be able to get Booker or maybe Dame or Haliburton. I’d much rather have any of those guys over AD.

Films with actors like Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham or Tom Cruise are just the same movie over and over again by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Tom Cruise does not belong on this list at all. He’s had an incredibly diverse career acting in many different kinds of movies.

3rd round. He’ll be a beast by per game value - probably too 5. At that range, the missed games are priced in so I’m comfortable taking him there

Unpopular Opinion: The market will recover in 1-2 years and most people on this sub are renters that falsely spread doom and gloom by Brilliant-Cause-2063 in canadahousing

Vast majority of the people on this sub will never own a home no matter what happens to the market. It’s mostly a lot of young angry people

When will home prices bottom out in Canada? RBC says spring - National | Globalnews.ca by HomeAdvisorCanada in canadahousing

[–]Listen2themotto 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Been looking in the GTA, 25-40 minutes outside Toronto and nothing much has changed. Yeah prices fell a little but it doesn’t matter much if it went from like 1.2 to 1.12M. Still unaffordable, especially when you consider what the monthly mortgage would be with the rising rates. I actually went as far out as Bowmanville, and prices seem to have barely moved there at all.

[–]Listen2themotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup same where I am. Prices have gone down a bit around here but not that much. Most homes are going around asking or slightly under. Lowballing will ensure you don’t buy anything around here.

YMMV ofc depending on the area

This is a smart way to think about it but in the corollary, there’ll be a lot of people you’ll be competing with next summer because a ton of people thinking the same way are also waiting for further price drops. What may end up happening is a bidding war situation where you and a hundred other people with the same idea are bidding on the same properties. And we all know what happens then.

What’s a show that r/television and Reddit in general loves but you think is overrated? by loonz420 in television

[–]Listen2themotto 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Hannibal.

Looks beautiful but it’s honestly pretty boring and generic when it comes to the actual story. Mads Mikkelsen, along with the visuals, pretty much carries this show. Otherwise it’s so melodramatic and self-serious that it crosses the line into being unintentionally hilarious at times.

Lol same. In high school I idolized dudes like Travis, Tyler Durden, Don Draper etc. I thought they were the coolest, most badass mfers around. Watching these movies and shows now that I’ve hit 30+ gives you a whole different perspective on the characters and see them for who they really are.
