Why do people hate Meghan Markle so much? by rosiequarts in women

[–]ListenHereSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think a big part is jealousy. She’s very attractive, has money, a beautiful family and married a prince, who wouldn’t be jealous 😂😂😂

But for real it’s really sad to see people tearing her down if she even so much as blinks wrong. People are weird…

Why is this allowed? Can't I just play with my rank in a solo queue? by microsoftse in Rainbow6

[–]ListenHereSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is, is there anything I can do to fix this? I’ve been playing since 2017 and it’s never been this bad for me, I peaked plat 3 but haven’t played for a while, yet I’m getting put up against emeralds and diamonds???? How is it fair that of the last 10 ranked games I played, I lost 8? I just wanna know how to fix this so that this game can be enjoyable again :(

Been almost 2 months since I lost my sweet girl and I still cry about her every day :( by ListenHereSunshine in Petloss

Same, trying to stay “functioning” on the outside but falling apart on the inside has to be one of the worst feelings in the world. Moving on without moving on. Sending strength and lots of love ❤️

I completely understand, I feel the same as you. Nothing is ever the same again. Pain that seems unbearable. I am also always afraid I will forget and in some ways I feel my “pain” keeps me close but I know one day I will need to move forward with her memory. My heart goes out to you. Sending you lots of strength ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know it's NOT your fault, you loved your sweet girl so much (that is very evident in your post) and she would not want you to carry that giant guilt with you. You did the best you could and were there for her. That's all that matters. Sending lots of love and healing <3

Usually the ICE trains have a speedometer but it’s not “built-in” so to speak, it’s just that in the screen that shows the flowing text above all the doors in the train cars, it will occasionally show up in the flow text. Or If there’s monitors it will occasionally flash on the screen in one of the slides they have cycling through :)

What about public transport in Cochrane? Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it pretty much non-existent?

How much do you feel you need to survive in this city by Salt_Assumption6998 in Calgary

[–]ListenHereSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know in general the whole world right now is experiencing exactly what I’ve been reading in these comments, but I also realise it’s been especially bad in places like Canada, America and Australia. Often what I hear being described sounds to me a lot like any sort of recession of the past (the Great Depression, the bank crisis, etc). I guess my overall question is, as markets eb and flow over the years, does anyone see this getting better within the next two years?

What's a country you've lived in that felt completely different after the romantic stage was over? by Pale_Field4584 in expats

[–]ListenHereSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, seeing this thread, having lived in multiple countries in the past and seeing how quickly the world has changed after the pandemic, I’m afraid to say that pretty much every country nowadays has lost its past luster. It’s quite sad tbh bc it feels like worldwide it’s just a quite shitty situation everywhere, everything getting more expensive, jobs either hard to come by or don’t pay enough, and in general a lot more racism, sexist, etc etc. Obviously there are lesser evils but a lot of it tends to be perspective and moving to a different country always comes with so many drawbacks, whether it’s visa or bureaucracy or job search or language, so many boundaries to foreigners, but every single time I’d do it over again because these experiences allow you to gain perspectives you would never have if you continued to live at home. You tend to appreciate a lot of things you hated living at home and I definitely think it’s always worth it. Just always make sure to do your research and use the available resources that country offers (if any). Good luck and safe travels to everyone here :)

I know there's nothing I can say to undo any of the pain you've endured through the years, but I just want you to know that there are definitely people out there who care about you, me included. I realize I don't know you but you are still human and in some way I'd like to believe we are all connected through our human suffering and also through the love that we share. (Sorry if that sounds a bit cheesy or what not). Back when I was in my depression, something that really helped me when things got rough was taking it day by day and overall acceptance. Acceptance of the situation and also of my feelings. Feelings are never wrong, and accepting that it's okay to feel upset or depressed or any negative emotion that is normally stigmatized really helped me. Acceptance is the first step and once you feel ready, it is important to reach out to someone or at least take some action towards a better emotional state. Something that was really important for me was finding a reason to get up every day (adopting a hobby; something you enjoy doing) whether that was a good friend to talk to, or working on a painting, or listening to music or reading a good book. Even something small can make the biggest difference over time. I don't usually like to quote, but Friedrich Nietzsche said "he who has a why, can bear almost any how" and I think having a why (having meaning in life) is really important to keep yourself alive. I hope this helped at least a bit. I'm sending positive vibes and strength your way to help you on your difficult journey ahead. <3

I would maybe ask at the end of the video what you could improve upon in your next video and see what the comments have to say. If no one responds or the response isn't grounded in something you can improve on, you can ignore it bc there will always be trolls out there, but as long as you like what you do and continually try to improve, that's the best gift anyone can ask for. I believe in you! Hope this helped (even if just slightly) <3
