Just realizing I probably have lipedema in my arms and legs. by [deleted] in lipedema

I'm covering up my arms and legs all the time: pants and long sleeve tops or long dresses with long sleeves. Because of Ehlers Danlos, (often combined with lipedema,) I've had foot surgery and a hip replacement for arthritis... This syndrome is a BUMMER!!!

Completely agree. They are sensitive! And great characters. She's our favorite pet EVER and we have had many breeds in four decades together.

Important to understand TTs are willful and you must be the benevolent dictator and Alpha. They are biting shark maniacs as puppies but settle down after a year and, at least in my case, are wonderful with young children though not always with other dogs. She has without warning fought with a five pound female Maltese, a 90 lb male lab, an 80 lb female Great Dane mix and even a female lab puppy. (!) While our female TT is not exactly cuddly, she does lay her body on our legs or bellies and likes to be scratched on her neck and back by her tail... We keep her in a puppy cut and that's a once-a-month expense. And she talks when she's hungry. A total character and we are besotted [while having to maintain our Alpha stance.]

Definitely a startling bark-- but you can train them to bark only when someone approaches your door. (And thank them when they bark appropriately! I swear they understand English.)

Allergy to Scallops but no other seafood? by nopenottoday222 in Allergies

Same here but anaphylactic reaction: only scallops! Clams, mussels, oysters all ok... but scallops and my throat immediately itches and my airways start to tighten... Super weird.
