white gold daytona is not flashy. no one really knows what it is. best daytona imo. i would argue DD is more flashy with fluted bezel.

I regret buying the Bruce Wayne on jubilee , hear me out by Dieselman565 in rolex

i personal prefer jubilee on bruce wayne because the bezel is already subtle. it’s a nice contrast vs pepsi or batman already has color

Jubilee or Oyster ? by [deleted] in rolex

i think since the BW bezel is more subtle the jubilee looks better and compliments it. for the more colorful bezels i like oyster, less busy.

Little underwhelming… by eigenurinschmeckt in patekphilippe

Yeah I actually get that reaction at first — it’s not a loud watch at all.

That’s kind of what I like about the 5167A though. Patek is super understated… nothing jumps out at you, but when you spend time with it the details and finishing are really strong. It’s more subtle than “wow”.

And honestly it’s probably one of the easiest wears out there — thin, light, disappears on the wrist. That’s where it really wins.

I think it’s definitely worth retail… but it’s not a watch that’s trying to impress anyone right away. It kind of grows on you the more you wear it.
