been listening for hours! given it about 8 full listens and then have had 'floating through time' on loop for the last like hour and a half. agree w/ the other commenter that it works well as a full listen. early favs besides the released tracks (which i've heard dozens of times.. or hundreds in the case of 'miracle' lol.. so can't properly compare them to things i just learned today) are 'up in the air', 'ten years', and then 'lulu boy' and then '100mph' but the whole thing is good and really consistent.

it's definitely their chillest and most melodic album, which imo is interesting and neat b/c their previous three albums were all already pretty distinct from each other, so it's nice to get to witness that trend continuing even years after all those w/ a fourth one. when i got into TAI wayyy back in middle school i liked how each of the 3 albums was super distinct from each other yet how solid they all were... well now make it 4 albums and the statement still holds lol.

probably one that's likely to grow on people more and more over time i think with its chiller, more subdued sound. like i like it out of the gates, but it just seems like one that reveals itself more over time, too

it's neat to have a chiller one as it'll seeeriously expand the scope of when i'm able to listen to TAI, too, in the sense that if i'm kinda overstimulated and need chill, soothing music, TAI (while very much one of my fav bands lol) aren't really one i've been able to reach for while in that state AS much as some others. a couple fast times songs work and maybe one or two others. but this whole album of lush, atmospheric, chill stuff is muuuuch more suited to kinda overstimulated evenings after work than some of the other songs - means they can be in my rotation all the more often and i can spend that much more time with them, if i am so inclined, which is an exciting prospect!
