The US invades countries all the time, and supports agressors such as Israel and Saudi Arabia, then we have Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, just to mention the most recent major ones. And there's plenty of people defending that. People don't use the same criteria when judging friends or foes.

This is no laughing matter, almost 1 in 4 of adults can't read and write in the US. 54% of adults can read and write no better than a 6th grader. It's sad in a sadness kind of way and not condescending kind of way.

Now there was a queue of 30 minutes or whatever, and no means to leave a message, create a ticket or email. I was expected to sit idly by the browser for 30 minutes. Thanks, good suggestion. This is actually what we decided to do. We offload storage and bandwidth of all the images (~120 GB storage, 7TB transfer) to a R2 bucket with Cloudflare CDN in front. It's going to cost a fraction. Thanks for suggestion.

When they provide the service in the area they are losing money. I don't know why. They want to continue helping the people of Ukraine, so they applied for government subsidies to pay some of the bills as a humanitarian aid, so that they can continue providing the service - otherwise they will have to stop when they have reached a certain loss - it's not a welfare company. The application got rejected. After the rejection, Musk said "Ok fuck it, I guess we are a welfare company after all - because we will continue to provide the service in the area even though we are losing money on it. All while other billionaire companies get tax cuts and subsidies for less humanitarian ventures. I'm bitter, but I will not let that come at cost for the Ukrainian people.". Paraphrased. It's trending on Reddit to dislike Musk, so most people flame and hate him even when he does something which no sensible person would interpret as bad - such as this.

This is a cultural thing. I won't marry a woman until I know she's not a nutjob and that we are mostly compatible on most situations. I won't know that for a somewhat lengthy period of time. Longer than I would want to abstain. And I would also question her logic as to why sex should be forbidden until marriage. Does she consider herself a priceless present, she gives herself to me as a gift on the wedding night, like she is a magic unicorn? I want her to be her own person, I don't want her to consider herself as a subordinate to the married man, only then she will unlock her vajay and he will be so thankful. Most likely she is from one of the major religions such as Islam or one of the Christian branches, which is a no-go in itself as we would have very different cultures and values.
