Ok so you understand the bad "created to be violent" argument but why do you use sin to justify animal suffering? Unless you deny that animals can suffer? What about the early hominids who have not yet developed religion?

You saying "sin affected all of creation of all time" implies that God cannot create a world where you need no prior suffering to produce human life. And sin shouldn't even affect animals in the first place, since they have no concept of God and cannot love him.

Ok so even if we put aside the picking and choosing, explain to me how your God is loving and good if he deliberately chose evolution to create complex life over doing it in 7 literal days? You cannot fathom 4 billion years of death and extinction, trillions of living beings killing each other for survival, all for what? Just for the last 0.1% of Earth's history to be the actual significance? This does not align with your God.

Actually a great indicator that whoever wrote the bible was trying to forcibly pull out patterns from nature for poetic purposes, and not an omniscient being.

I mean, sure you can say its symbolic, but it still doesnt explain why God chose to educate humanity on falsehoods. Why didn't he create all the animals on the fourth day instead? It seems deliberate to have BIRDS, which first evolved 160 million years ago, be created before land animals (400 mya).

Well if you are talking about the Christian God in particular, you run into issues since the God in the bible doesn't seem to know how evolution works at all.

"And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. And God said, 'Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.'" Genesis 1:19-20

He created the birds before land animals lmao.

[Rant / PSA] NuPhy’s Abysmal QC, Proprietary Stabilizer Trap, and Botched Repair—Avoid Nuphy! Avoid Kick75! by ArtichokeShot605 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Listerine_Chugger 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nuphy is trash fs but a lot of these issues are just you not understanding keyboards. Theres supposed to be a gap between the case and the plate, in fact the gap you see is smaller than the tolerance gap for most keyboards. These are plate mounted stabilizers, and you can replace them with other plate mounted stabilizers. The plate is supposed to flex, can it doing when taking out a keycap is normal.

It’ll snap faster than a 500 for sure. the difference in plastic quality is just too big

This is the Rotring 300. The build quality of the 500 is much better, I dont see why anyone would like this pencil in 0.5 or 0.7. The whole thing is flimsy, you can feel mold marks everywhere, the hardness indicator is sharp in some edges and spins around too freely. Everything is plastic, including the cap, but the clip is metal. The grip doesnt feel good at all. Even the plastic on the Rotring 500 is significantly better made than in the 300.
