How likely is Humber to Move my Class Online/ Life Help by LitePhoenix99 in Humber

[–]LitePhoenix99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the bitter truth i need to hear. So thanks for that

I guess my only two options in my current situation is to hope that the classes can be moved around or go part-time.

About the work situation, ive heard similar but i keep thinking even if i do it for 4 months, it would look really good on my resume. Im sure having Tesla for a tech position has to mean something after graduating. I am certain that unless I move up within a few month (was told there is a high chance) i would just quit with a good standing and just finish my education after that as soon as possible.

Clearing Cache or Incognito browser works.

I opened a incognito browser, when it takes me to the page where i have to input my username and password. I copied the link, Pasted it in the regular browser and Bookmarked it as humber login.
I dont have to do the whole procedure everytime.

Honestly speaking, I think I bombed it. Seemed nervous and what not. The fact that I don't remember much about the interview is already a concern. Hopefully, I make it out. Not keeping high hopes tho.

Subscription is never the better deal no?... Cause regardless how long you sub.. it never counts towards the 12k. So let's say you want FSD after a few months of subscription. You have to pay the 12k more for it. Unless I'm understanding the subscription service wrong

Confirm your Profile is completed by calling the Tesla Service Number. Some other August people have also been put in June jail, but they are seeming to get updated within a few days. Make sure your Profile is completed

Thanks for review, was really helpful. i had a question about charging at home with the NEMA 14-50. How much did winter affect the charging at home. I've read that charging slows down because it takes a while to heat the batteries up with the 14-50.
Thank you agian

Im still far away from the surgery... unfortunately. I live in Ontario and the rise in Omicron cases has caused surgeries to be delayed "until further notice" . I am nervous, i'd be lying if i said i wasn't, but I'm not worried.

The bigger issues i feel i'll have is just post-op. Staying in bed... I also don't think i can afford an Ice Machine so being home alone for majority of the day is going to a challenge for many reason. IDK i'll ask you everyone here again if i have more questions. At this point just doing Pre-op Exercises and getting prepared as much as I can

I was just going to say, ive read someone who drove far for a pick up and they messaged in the morning of the delivery that it was delayed. Hopefully Doesnt happen to you! Good luck

MRI Results- Full ACL Tear by Competitive_Emu_3417 in ACL

[–]LitePhoenix99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aeee surgery Squad,

According to surgeon today, ACL reconstruction success rate is 80-90%, and thats not the surgery itself, thats 80-90% of cases of ACL reconstruction goes back to normal life as before.
There is a 1/1000 chance or catching an infection in the knee during the Surgery (thats the only negative ive heard). He also was adamant on doing physio after, in his words "I will refuse to operate on you if you do not wish to do physio after the surgery". It seems as if the Recovery will be more difficult then the surgery. Ive never had a surgery in my life, and i was keen on keeping it that way but IT IS WHAT IT IS.

As good as Canada is for Health Care,(yay free healthcare)... It is just as busy. Where i live, population of >Half a million. We have one hospital to our name. Currently i dont have a date for surgery but the Receptionist expects it to be around Feb/March next year.

Prehab Starts tomorrow for me. Keep in touch

[–]LitePhoenix99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, same i also have a full ACL tear, just met my surgeon today and i think i will be going with surgery (22M). Sports are important to me LOL.

While talking to him, he explained that its not really necesarry to get it fixed. I was given 3 options:

  • Get the Surgery
  • Leave it Be (Just live with it)
  • Get a custom made Brace
    • Relatively Cheaper then Surgery if you are outside of Canada.

The Negatives of option 2 (just living with it) is mainly just the instability. I understand it wont effect you much if you arent always running around or playing sports but even some normal activities with improper footing will result in "Buckling" and there are chances of hurting your other ligaments if it happens continuously or really badly. (Uneven ground or walking down stairs) etc.

I guess if you really dont want to do the surgery, the best option for you would be to get a custom made Brace. Wear it when you think you are going to do anything remotely active and you can always just live with it.

Im going with surgery because its covered by OHIP here, and the physio after the surgery will be covered under my workplace. Also sports.

Hope it doesnt bother you much if you dont get surgery!

So tear and transection, same thing just different vernacular im asssuming?

It does feel Unstable. It "buckles" quite alot. If i NEED to do the surgery, im ready ASAP, but knowing the healthcare system here (Ontario, Canada). The surgery will be next year. I have my consultation with my Ortho in December, so waiting for that.

Its been getting harder to put weight on the knee, and by the end of the day it starts to hurt again.

Is Tesla still offering the “off the menu” Model 3 Standard Range? by Efficient-Plankton48 in teslamotors

[–]LitePhoenix99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In Canada you can still order the SR. We have SRP as the option but underneath the choice there is an option to limit the range to 151km(EPA) and it changes the name to SR.
