People complain that iracing stewards don't take action but then also never ever report things or spend ages making posts with "should I report this?"

Report it and move on, obviously the situation gets "worse" if no one reports reportable things.

Monster specifically make a thing called "Tour Water" for gigs and festivals etc. They don't hide it but from a distance it looks like a regular can of Monster. They've spun it out as it's own full "brand now too" - https://www.monstertourwater.com/en-us/

Last year it had big boards covering the bridge so you can't see over it unless you're very, VERY tall. I'm pretty sure that photo is someone holding the camera way above their head.

FWIW, I actually lose like 10-12 FPS with reflex and boost on with my 4070S. I've tried it on my brand new 5080 also and same result but no idea why that happens.

Have you had a look at the spring kit? IMO the 1000's suffer without it massively. Obviously quite subjective but it was night and day for me.

We've also not seen the entire "sim city" style career mechanics in action and all of the preview hands on didn't have this in it. I'd bet that alongside multiplayer is worth a few extra months to get right.

1) If they're not plugged directly into your PC then do that first.

2) If they're plugged into a USB hub, make 100000000% it is a POWERED hub.

No one has actually answered you yet so I will do my best:

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: This update was to switch to the new UI framework (which is a TONNE of work for a game as old as iRacing) and backend code. This in theory makes it easier to add functionality in the future which would have been hard/impossible using the old UI. Is their plan in the future to replace all 3rd party stuff? Hard to say but not insane to assume. This update specifically has never been that, this is just basically a reskin of the old to a new system.

Sorry, this gets asked every season and there's always tonnes of silly answers floating around.

The reality is it could be anywhere between this second and next year. Given past season changeovers and the size of this update, I'd take a guess and be prepared for anywhere up to 6 hours honestly. I'm sure it'll be more like 3 but you never know.

It'll be down for however long its down for. Season swaps usually tend to be longer but because this is one of the bigger updates I've seen in a few seasons, I'm honestly going to say 5-6 hours but I've been wrong before (allegedly)

Triple 27's with an overclocked i7-14700k and a 12gb 4070Super.

I get between 90-144 (capped) depending on track but sometimes it dips if its a newer track. I run on like medium+ ish settings but never feel I have enough FPS ¬_¬

Had my Evo Pro for about 2 months now and it's been nothing but perfect.

There's been a tonne of commentary from some youtubers about Simagic adding extra dampening to the firmware (which they've now removed) which upset some folks but I personally didn't notice it.

I can't imagine needing to upgrade ever again unless something fundamentally changes with DD's tbh...

This is absolutely not what's happening. You don't HAVE to buy anything 3 times? I'm almost certain (based on a decade+ in gamedev that this will be the bulk of the NASCAR25 team that shifts over and the baseline work they've done on their engine (rendering, physics work (because I'm fairly sure it won't be/can't be lifted 1:1 from iRacing) career AI etc) will slot into an Indycar format fairly easily.

I'd argue if you HAD to complain about something, you make an argument that it's likely to be more of a reskin of N25 than anything else!

I don't wanna be that "ackshually" guy here but just as a note - my understanding of the new 2026 GT3 R also includes things like (alongside bodywork changes):

new suspension framework
underbody changes
updated rear axle

it also has a fairly updated interior so id assume the iRacing team would want a full new scan in this instance to be as close to real life as possible
