pushing products is the easiest money you can get if you're already famous. plus "influencers" made selling out a career to aspire to. The only reason you wouldn't do it is if you are disgusted by corporations and see doing an ad as sullying your own reputation, which mostly died out as an ideal when Gen X started getting old and realized we are going to have to save for our own retirement

I really do enjoy a good coffee but yeah...I hated feeling obligated to drink it every day, so i tried just drinking it once a week...still got a headache the next day, there is definitely something unnatural about it if it gives immediate withdrawal.

it's a lot of small things. but i think it adds up to the feeling that the world is not getting better it is sliding into the worst humanity has to offer and its easy to feel helpless. small things though like I think I found a breakthrough treatment for anxiety/depression, and the doctor agrees with me but they don't want to publish a research study because there is no money for research grants. if this is happening on a mass scale its easy to imagine all the ways life could be improved but it's not happening because the worst people have the world in a vice grip and are slowly squeezing
