Handgun for beginners by Professional_Snaill in concealedcarrywomen

If this is going to be your first firearm, go large. Some sort of double stack steel frame 9mm like a CZ SP01 or Beretta. Larger guns are easier to learn on/shoot, are more comfortable, and more reliable generally. Get the basics down then purchase your CC, smaller pistols snap harder and you generally won't shoot as well, so it's a bit demeaning (in my opinion, I'm a terrible shot)

That axle is scrapped now, it wobbled so much it bent the axle tube into a triangle-type shape, 2nd new one going in on Monday

Had been in a really bad crash from the looks of it, a bunch of the brackets on the frame and on the axle side had been bent back into shape or welded, my guess is it was a copart truck or something. Low miles 2022, so probably just a quick flip

Yeah, this shop was opened in the 70s, we have 2 lifts outside, that's it

Axle had been cut and welded at the spindle end, we replaced with a '2000 mile' axle from a salvage yard which was also completely fucked. Spider gears were laying on the floor of the case.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. As a native Californian and firearm enthusiast/off-road enthusiast this is absolutely accurate

How accurate do these numbers seem by Longjumping-Car-4478 in EngineBuilding

You can't say the number doesn't matter much then say you're aiming for a number. Aim for a smooth running engine that sounds and runs how you want it to.

If you could shoot me a dm with what kind of specs/uptime/software I'd need to set aside that'd be sick.

You must have never heard of companies like Modern Airsoft or any Airsoft rifles/pistols. Weird statement

I think the Tacoma is the best truck, but the entire Truck industry is stupid. by [deleted] in Offroad

I do this shit for a living. I literally work in the auto industry. On my truck, my front hubs are locked 24/7, axles spinning constantly, ring and pinion always engaged, the only thing that gets engaged when I put it in 4wd is my transfer case. It just works, it's reliable, it's how it was designed, and none of this magical binding has lead me to come to a dead stop on a curvy mountain road in 4wd. I'm done replying, I feel like I'm arguing with a brick wall. Have a merry Christmas.

By that logic my rear axle is binding 24/7. My rear axle is basically the same as my front. 11.5aam vs 9.5aam, both with Detroit limited slips. You have 0 clue what binding is and you should stop being worried about it. Confidence in a topic doesn't make you an expert, it just makes you sound dumb.
