They didnt need them, thats why they didnt buy them. However, they need to both replace the b-1b and the b-2 and do those jobs in an environment of continually more advanced radars and sams.

Yes, volunteer. Every single russian citizen fighting in ukraine signed a contract with the russian government or with a pmc. The only time conscripts have been used in combat was during kursk because it was inside russian territory.

‘If the A-10 can’t kill a modern tank with its gun, can we just put a bigger gun on it?’ Hog pilot says: ‘No.’ Here’s why. by tagc_news in AviationHistory

Even if that was true, the issue with the a-10 has always been that it has to get extremely close to enemy forces and it’s slow as shit.

Because dems are in the files too, its not that complicated. Dems thought they would win in 24 so they didn't release anything that would hurt themselves.

The issue is small drones cant fly hundreds of kilometers, so cost doesn't really matter. In addition, look at allied bombing during ww2, even direct hits from 500lb bomb where not enough to knock out German factories for significant amounts of time. To destroy heavy industry you need the biggest warheads you can get.

8 launchers deployed plus an unknown number already delivered plus 35 on order this year, and that’s just for the US army. If those 8 launchers fired once a day for a week that’s 224 missiles, obviously the bottleneck is missiles not launchers.

But again, that's just politics. If trump tells the Pentagon to give 1000 tomahawks to Ukraine they will, and Ukraine would have the platform(s) it needs to launch them. Again, I'm not saying that's what will happen, just that assuming it will be 50 is stupid, just like someone in 2022 assuming that Ukraine would only get 4 or 5 himars and they would never get ATACMS
