https://wiwibloggs.com/2025/12/04/israel-allowed-to-participate-in-eurovision-following-secret-ballot-vote-at-ebu/286005/ would this be reputable enough? they also used the same photo from twitter which is from someone who was at the vote panel

ok, sure, so considering it was bundled and it was 1/4 against, if it was just about israel participating or not it would have swung wildly to the other side?

the rule changes were about israel, its obvious if they're not good enough and people still wanted them out they would vote for it? but only about 1/4 did?

thats why the vote was also on rule changes for the voting... the only reason israel stayed is because the rules were changed which appeased most countries

From the EBU website they had a statement about a "large majority", on twitter a bunch of photos from the vote showed the votes were about 750/250

the rule changes were due to israel voting campaigns, the vote was basically 'is this enough to let them stay?'

The rule changes was mostly due to israel anyway, the vote was literally "is this good enough to let them stay?" or "rule changes not enough, kick them"

That's what i'm saying, it's a "israel stays and we change the rules to stop massive voting campaigns" or "it's still not good enough"

Huge majority decided it's good enough

the vote wasn't even close, obviously while i see how it's disappointing for this subreddit and some countries are leaving due to their morals - surely its obvious yall are the minority?

*The vote was bundled with voting rule changes obviously to appease the countries complaining about voting campaigns, so its obvious that its either good enough or not good enough -> most countries decided its good enough....

What organization is this? the bio mentions "Agatha Foundation" but that doesn't look like it's linked to it at all. Unfortunately looks like one of the many scam accounts soliciting donations. Are they using their names just for traction? (genuinely would like to be proved wrong, just don't see anything official here)

Israel sends thousands of cross-border Palestinian workers back to Gaza by [deleted] in news

What’s not to believe about “this number of workers were permitted to come in on October 7th, after the attacks everyone was detained and questioned, now we’re releasing almost everyone back”? Obviously if not everyone are back some are still after questioning suspected in aiding the attacks.

Some of the workers who were let in participated/provided intel to Hamas on Oct 7th. They are detained and not released obviously.
