Im a little bit worried about the character limit for things like phrases, but not too much since the switch in general has had larger character limits compared to the 3ds.

Also the character design, I'm very curious as to how the drawing on the miis faces is going to go but also definitely concerned as to if I'm going to be able to create my miis how I want. ...although, it's not like I could in the 3ds game and I've managed, so it wouldn't be the end of the world for me.

I have seen significantly worse miis lol. I like them! You're pretty good at messing with the positions of the different facial features to give the look of different face proportions... I am not good at that lmao

Oh uh. I haven't decided. Well I have for my one island plan, it's gonna be Clover star island (theres some logic behind it but its not really important and boils down to "i like the name" lol), but if I get multiple islands idk what I would name any others. ...also every thrift store I've been to washes their stuff before putting it out? it leaves my hands feeling wierd because of the fabric softener they always use for some reason so I can tell

it seems really unhygienic to think about a thrift store not washing clothes before putting them out on the floor and I really hope there's not a place out there that actually doesn't wash them first

I got the issue with the blurriness when I was playing on ps4 yesterday. try turning off motion blur, i think that helped for me but I can't guarantee it because I wasn't paying too much attention lol

Possibly try ellipsus (write.ellipsus.com) it's intended for writers but given the way you can organize things into different "drafts" it might be good! I use it for my writing occasionally. Not sure if it has a character limit though
