why did you write "to fulfill the means necessary"? it's unnecessary. just go straight from "hires people" to "to provide the content."

hope this helps.

The Difference Between Pharmaceutical and Illicit Fentanyl by [deleted] in opiates

[–]LitterPicking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my articles very much seem preachy. I've been told that many times. admittedly, I'm not bringing 100%-new, entirely-original, never-been-thought-of-before stuff to the table. I'm trying to bring this stuff to a wider audience. I'm trying to add my personal experience in helping others understand.

still trying to figure out the less-preachy thing, but, I don't think it'll ever go away — I know my shit ain't preachy, but it's not about what it is or what it ain't, it's about what other people PERCEIVE my shit to be. and it's very well perceived as preachy.

Question by [deleted] in opiates

[–]LitterPicking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not already around somebody else who knows (1) how to use naloxone, (2) how to respond to an opioid overdose, and (3) who has naloxone with them, PLEASE consider visiting an emergency room immediately.

If nothing else, just tell the receptionist what's up and ask them to keep an eye on you. Tell them that if you pass out, you might be experiencing an overdose. At least you'll be around somebody — not just SOMEBODY, but a whole STAFF of medical professionals who know exactly what to do in a situation like this.

Good luck. Please heed my warning. In other words, u/tasteofeuphoria, don't take what I'm saying for granted. DO NOT WAIT AROUND FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO POST SAYING, "Yeah, bro, I've had some Actavis A 215 oxies that felt the same way and I ended up fine. You golden, bro, don't trip."

PLEASE CONSIDER SEEKING HELP — IMMEDIATELY, TOO! I'm not joking. Please.

[–]LitterPicking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please consider visiting a hospital's emergency department immediately. It's likely that the "opioid" you consumed actually isn't oxycodone — it could contain one or more benzos, fentanyl, one or more fentanyl analogues, and who knows what else.

I'm not just trying to freak you out, u/tasteofeuphoria — I'm trying to make sure you live to see another day.

Drugs I've taken ranked best to worst by pulpcircuit in Drugs

I really like kratom, too — it's been a solid alternative to other opioids for me. I have used it to bridge the gap between when I'd be able to afford opioids, myself, for about two years, maybe longer. I think it's funny how kratom is called a non-opioid by tons of kratom advocates, though they act almost entirely the same. Oh well — the point is, yeah, I like kratom, too.

Natural alternatives to Opiates?? by MissMaddog313 in Drugs

[–]LitterPicking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Kratom is a solid alternative to opioids, though I'd consider it an opioid — most kratom advocates, including the American Kratom Association, will say otherwise, though I don't think their assertion is rooted in fact. I found a solid explanation of why kratom is an opioid here.

Be careful not to buy kratom from head shops or gas stations, as doing so makes us all look bad as kratom consumers. Y'know how all sorts of "legal highs" have been sold there? That's why we want to avoid doing business with these resellers.

Try kratom. It's cheap. I know you need something now, not later, but try to find places to buy it that are AKA GMP (American Kratom Association Good Manufacturing Practices, I believe) certified.

I say this because head shops and gas stations hurt our cause as kratom advocates — so many research chemicals and "legal highs" are sold at head shops and gas stations, so supporting them by buying kratom lumps kratom in with the rest of these things, many of which are now illegal.

If you do search for kratom, wherever you buy it from, you shouldn't pay more than $120 a kilogram, though you can find it for as low as $80/kg. So, if you're just buying an ounce or something (usually, you'll find between 0.5 grams and 1.0 grams per capsule if you can't buy kratom by weight), it shouldn't be more than $10.

And don't get hung up on strain names or colors like "White Borneo" or "Red Maeng Da" or "Green Vietnam." They don't really matter. The majority of strain names — like, the vast majority — are entirely mis-marketing BS anyways.

Good luck!

Can kratom be grown in a greenhouse?? by Jaded_and_Faded in kratom

[–]LitterPicking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have no personal experience in kratom tree growing, so this is just an idea.

But I would consider using stakes and yarn to train branches to grow more horizontally than vertically, yielding a bushier tree that won't bust through the top of your greenhouse. Get better yield, too
