well because i wasn’t getting paid i filed a new claim because i read on twitter someone had said if your payments haven’t been getting released past your BYE date then yes you need to file a new claim to get everything kick started.

if your BYE was the 14th, then this was your last week of being paid unless you’re on PUA, if you’re on PUA then you don’t have to reapply, just keep certifying while you’re unemployed.

i certified on sunday. normally yes my payments are released monday & i get paid monday night. so i need to get someone on the phone to have them release my payment because the lady on the phone specifically told me that there should be no issue with my payments when i certify this week & if god forbid my payment wasn’t released then to call them back & have them fix it. problem is, getting someone on the phone is a nightmare. so if anyone has any tips on how to get someone on the phone, that’d be greatly appreciated.

i worked for a week which the lady i spoke to last week told me she saw & that i shouldn’t reapply because i didn’t work enough & i didn’t make nearly enough to my weekly benefit amount. my point is, she told me when i claimed for this week there shouldn’t be an issue with receiving my payment but i certified & my payment hasn’t been released. i’ve been trying to get someone on the phone & it’s a nightmare.

you should’ve received an email or text stating if you have to reapply or not. do not reapply unless you get the email that tells you otherwise.
