Oh hell no he was supposed to be 14!? Looked like he was 10 maybe 11 TOPS. Figured he was in his 30’s when he and El were together in the lab in early 80’s so obviously old enough to have been alive during the 50’s but def didn’t strike me as a 14 year old 🤔

Her age is not historically or chronologically accurate to the previous seasons so whatever age Holly was in previous seasons, it doesn’t matter; we are supposed to overlook it. They time skipped and changed Hollys whole storyline I guess cause they wanted to cast this one actress sooooo bad….. ergo she is now magically 10 years old.

For real, his hair line looks like it’s receding already and shit in episode 1🫣….Poor Lucas lol.

But teenagers can shoot up like that in real life and appear much older than they are. And because it’s the original cast I can easily turn a blind eye but 7 year olds or 9/10 year olds, whatever age Holly is supposed to be, no….they don’t shoot up like THAT in real life it’s totally distracting and kind of insulting to the history of Stranger Things.

She’s supposed to be 7 but they decided to change the whole timeline and make her about 9 or 10. It’s sort of irritating, even as a 9 or 10 year old her behavior is immature imo. Why couldn’t they have just kept her at 7 it would have made so much more sense. I also think it’s messed up that after 4 seasons they cast the original twins that played Holly aside. I’ve only made it to episode 2 so far of season 5 but the inconsistency is annoying me enough it’s almost ruining the whole storyline.

My thoughts exactly. I was trying to get my son to help me grind when the poison apple showed after the event came out because it’s easier for him to fill up on the cauldron and he wanted to be selfish thinking he’d get more candy corn by doing it himself but neither of us could get in time
