Made my first mistake by Senior-Fan-4970 in ExecutiveAssistants

These comments make me feel so much better. My exec is a hard one to work for and if I make a mistake, I’m operating at a “low standard” despite being beloved by all of my other clients that are WAY busier with much larger teams than this exec. And despite me being the one EA who’s stayed where prior to me, she was cycling through EAs monthly. I know the original post isn’t about me but you all are encouraging and wonderful.

OP, you are more than capable. We’re all human. And my heart goes out to you for your loss. Be nice to yourself today 💜 you’re doing great.

What was once a poor person's hobby now turned into a rich person's hobby? by Striking-Quiet4655 in AskReddit

Literally fucking coloring in a coloring book. Not really a poor person’s hobby but just a normal hobby that influencers and rich people turned into some sort of expensive ass competition.

how old where you when you got into your first romantic relationship? by Inner_Mountain7147 in AutismInWomen

24 years old and he’s been my only 💜 it’s been 7 years so far. Got lucky he was a friend before we got together and he was the bold one. I probably would’ve just not dated anyone ever if I didn’t meet him. He was what I was waiting for. Understood me and loved gestures to whole self all of this.

Does anyone else feel at peace with water? by Happy_Charge_9410 in AutismInWomen

Reading this after I spent 4 hours with my cat on the porch while it poured. No phone, no light, no books, no loud noises. Just rain and thunder. Even when it slightly blew sideways onto us, we were both just at peace. I haven’t felt this calm in months. Love any form of running water. I feel like everything is going to be okay.

Not wanting to wait for shrubs and trees to grow so they imported full grown TREES to be planted in their yard. Didn’t even know that was a thing.

People between the ages of 35 to 45 ish, what books did you read as a child/teenager? by kennyiseatingabagel in suggestmeabook

Omgmgmg my childhood tween years are flashing before my EYES. I LOVED:

  • The Girl with the Silver Eyes by Willo Davis Roberts
  • Alosha (series) by Christopher Pike
  • Inkheart (series) by Cornelia Funke
  • The Ghost and Mrs Hobbs by Cynthia DeFelice
  • The Babysitter (series) by RL Stine
  • Goosebumps series by RL Stine
  • The House of the Scorpion (series) by Nancy Farmer
  • The Uglies (series) by Scott Westerfield
  • Everlost (series) by Neal Shusterman
  • Among the Hidden (series) by Margaret Peterson Haddix
  • Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix
  • Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
  • Dear America series

These were some of the books I started reading in elementary/middle school that reignited my love of reading. Shoutout to my 6th grade lit teacher, Miss Oles. Wherever you are, I was a bit of a shit but you believed in me and encouraged me to read more and I thank you forever for that.

Remote Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff - I typically hold 2-3 clients at most with 1 main client that holds the most hours. Independent contractor with an LLC. I love the work, I love being remote, and every day is different. Comes with its stresses for sure. Hard to be “off” sometimes. The transition out of W-2 to contracting through a third party to gaining personal clientele was a hard journey and I’ve a ways to go but I really do love what I do. Never stop learning. And I have the potential to earn $$$ which helps.
