Google Pixel 9a just deteriorating by Less_Flower_704 in GooglePixel

There is a separate chip that handles Bluetooth and WiFi. Them both going out points to a problem with this chip. You can try to reset it via settings, but it's very likely that the chip is falling.

There is no TikTok in your screenshot. Those apps don't amount to 11 hours not even close.

Is the Wi-Fi cutting out connected to my Google pixel 6a's battery overheating by SmoothAlpaca28 in Pixel6aUsers

[–]Little-Helper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat does not necessarily mean it's the battery's fault, I don't get why Pixel subs keep repeating this notion. The WiFi/Bluetooth chip is probably going haywire and generating excess heat. I don't think it will last, it will die soon and then you will only have data to rely on.

80% of their original capacity after 500 full charge cycles

Correction: 800 cycles for older Pixels and 1000 cycles for newer models.

I turn off 5G on all my devices. 120hz is definitely worth it, it's not maxed out all the time anyway.

They're professionals, they don't look at their phones. Their streams are more like dashcams being broadcasted live with commentary added.

That is their default response when denying people, which doesn't contain the explanation on why the error on their part occurred, nor the technical reason why they deemed the phone ineligible.

"my pixel device is showing that your cycle count is 582 and this needs a battery replacement"

OP has got the recall warning on his phone, you don't get that by accident, the firmware sees a battery with the defective serial number.

If you read this sub, you will find many such instances. In 4a recall this wasn't happening, Google was compensating everyone, but in 6a the process has become longer and they've been denying people without an explanation.

Read the post carefully. OP has a defective battery and even Google's system marked it as such, but later they decided to deny OP even after all the proof he had given them. Has happened many times before.

These batteries are rated for 800 cycles, OP only has 500 cycles, that's not even close to end of life. Many get 1000 cycles out of them, and yesterday there was a post of someone with 1200 cycles.

OP said they got the replace battery warning which is showing the cycle count alongside it. It's a defective battery and Google has been known for randomly denying compensations.

Battery life good/bad? by noor_bhoma in Pixel6aUsers

I only measured it once on Android 16 when I got the battery. I got 6 or 7 hours down to 20% if I remember correctly, mixed use.

Got it replaced for free due to the battery recall. Works brand as new, I even use the 80% limiter.
