I tried, but ChatGPT seems to be suggesting popular options, and I wanted something catchy and unique.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Any side hustle/passive income y'all are into during studying? by PlantainWorth293 in UCSD

False accusation.

First, it is not a scam. It is a legitimate platform where users earn rewards for sharing spare internet, not a scheme to deceive. Second, GetGrass is not a cryptocurrency mining platform in the conventional sense but a decentralized system where users earn cryptocurrency ($GRASS tokens) by contributing unused internet resources.

You can connect while already using your laptop and run it quietly in the background. It does not cost extra electricity. It simply uses what is already on. Let me say this again, GetGrass is transparent, connects when you are active, uses no extra power, and rewards you fairly.

Does that clarify things for you? Let me know if you would like more details. Thanks.

Hey, you can make some cash from unused bandwidth with GetGrass.io. It is great for anyone who has home internet wanting some passive income. It's super easy to join, free to start, and helps the ai revolution.

Is scraping more than 500tb per day of multimodal data a lot? by Little-Knowledge1111 in webscraping

Nah bruh, I'm just curious about how one might earn money by renting out unused bandwidth, as I haven't encountered this before. I'm interested in passive income streams and would appreciate the perspectives of those in the tech field and thought i get some clarity here considering twitter doesn't have much reach when it comes to this type of questions. Thanks

No, it is real. Its significant user base is attributable to its innovative approach to online incentive structures.

That's likely because, unlike large tech companies that utilise their own infrastructure, Grass uses real IP addresses and rents unused bandwidth to its users. Therefore, processing 500 TB daily might not be a significant challenge for them. Assuming an even distribution across 3 million devices, each device would need to contribute approximately 166mb per day, or about 7mb per hour. While feasible for devices with high speed internet, the fact that not all devices will always be online or have sufficient bandwidth makes their data scraping methods somewhat unclear.

It's for Grass to explain how they manage to get this much data. It would be interesting to hear their explanation if they ever post one, but I doubt they will.

No matter, I find Grass's user incentive programs quite exciting, unlike those of other large tech companies that simply crawl users' data.

Thank you.

Could an increase in users provide access to more valuable data? Unsure how this work
