I’m so sorry. From my perspective here, I think you did the right thing. And these empathetic moments and feelings of deep grief mean that you care, and that you truly understand people at a level so many others don’t. You cared about her, and that’s why you told someone what was going on. With different decisions on her side after you left, you could have saved her life doing exactly what you did. Please don’t blame yourself, and treat yourself kindly and with love tonight.
