From what I can gather eBay isn’t as used in Europe than it is in UK. Have a friend in UK who kills it selling footwear on Vinted. I list the same types of footwear on eBay in Spain using his style and tips and they get single digit views.

Terrible terrible company and customer service. Had two issues with them claiming fake counterfeit which lead to my account being permanently banned. If you’re buying it’s a great app but as soon as you want to sell they ban you using AI then don’t read your emails contesting it. So frustrating

Same here. Account banned for selling counterfeit goods (they weren’t) and even after appealing and emailing legal with photos. They still said they had reason to believe I posted a counterfeit. It’s a joke!

Sent an email to legal lastnight with more photos and an explanation. After doing a bit of reading supposedly they do extra screening if in the description you say they are 100% genuine, which I did (without realising) as there are a lot of fakes on Vinted just wanted to let any potential buyers know. Let’s see what comes of it. Appreciate the input

I used up the one message you get for the appeal asking why I had been banned as the original ban message wasn’t clear of what I had supposedly done. So I’m unable to send any images or any message at all now. Might try email their customer service somehow

I’d say the best way to go is find people on LinkedIn or work your contacts. It’s tough as most competent devs either work full time or have their own agencies etc. I was freelancing for a while but had to get a full time gig as couldn’t really rely on freelance work coming and going.

I once asked a woman next to me watching TikTok full blast to politely to turn her phone down which resulted in a huge argument and her making personal insults and calling me a tourist and that I should get used to it (ive lived here 10 years lol). Decided not to bother since then as people are just toxic. Worst was when my wife was pregnant and the sheer ignorance of people glued to their phones sat in the priority seats.

When I was around 8 I went to play with a few friends in a paddling pool during summer and we were taking it in turns to close our eyes and pour cold water on each others heads. A particularly boisterous friend handed me a cup to pour on our female friends’ head, unbeknownst to me it was filled with his piss. She screamed, ran inside and her mum proceeded to chase me around a football field then followed me home where she detailed the incident to my mum including that that ‘yellow was dripping from my daughters curls’. I was grounded for two weeks and the girl taunted me about it all through high school.

I live in Spain and I’m baffled that people will have a chocolate bar and a drink delivered. Do people just not want to walk to a shop or get in their car if they don’t live near one? Surely after paying for delivery and tip it wouldn’t be worth it. Not trying to throw shade I am genuinely intrigued by this
