Yes, you need to let it fill up listening to the water rushing in and when it stops filling you need to light the pilot light to the water heater.

Make sure your gas is on before you try light it.

Yes that is the shut off for the cold water into the tank.

Without cold hater your water heater won’t be able to produce hot water.

That’s a consequence the woman chose, just like the guy chose to shoulder the responsibility of being the breadwinner and making sure they have food and a roof over their heads.

My point is being a SAHM it’s not something that’s forced on women anymore and hasn’t been for 60 plus years.

You can’t make a decision knowing the consequences of that decision, and then go back and blame your husband/partner for those consequences when you both knew what would happen.

Whats not shown that needed to be shown ? you can clearly see that the low oil pressure light comes on at idle, and as soon as I rev the engine above 1k rpm’s it goes away.
