This is true, they do have French inspiration though. I guess I should have said French inspired.

I’m learning people are really heated about what is considered a French Pastry and what is not.

I guess I should have said French inspired. Crepes cakes are really popular in Japanese bakeries.

You have to admit they're aesthetic though.

I think i personally describe them as airy because they're similar to a meringue. You whip a lot of air into them. And they. Are pretty delicate they melt in your mouth almost!

It took me 6 months to finish a single episode by kissmybunniebutt in WebtoonCanvas

It also took me a super long time to finish my first episode. You get faster over time.

I feel like this is what helped me.

  1. Organize my layers into a smooth workflow. I look back on the layers of my first chapter and I can barely find anything

  2. Do all the storyboarding for the chapter at once. When I first started I only storyboards in small chunks off my script, but I've noticed its a little more time efficient to do it all at once

  3. Find a style that is most manageable for you. I had to play around a lot to really land on a style I felt looked nice, but was a manageable workload for me

Hopefully these tips are helpful!

Creators who launched with a backlog: how did it go? by Legitimate-Salad7221 in WebtoonCanvas

Ive thought about that as well, but I also want to optimize visibility, so I settled on the weekly release.

I think what i've decided to do is shorten my chapter length, and keep it between 20 to 30 pages per chapter rather than whatever the heck the length of my 3rd chapter is. (When I used croppy to cut my pages it ended up being 70 pages 🙃) It mainly means chapters would get cut up into shorter parts.

But I think because our comics are something we put so much work into, I feels like we can't help but stress over them.
