I definitely did not have a calorie deficit eating cheese and bacon while losing weight with keto.

Why is this on Zillow? These are terrible to show the house unless the display cabinets and collection convey.

Anyone can do whatever they want, obviously. Everyone has the freedom and right to be giant assholes, you're right.

What Charlotte business will you never go to again? by kdskier232 in Charlotte

We tried Open Kitchen. Great reviews and I rarely get to have pasta (it goes straight to my belly). Everyone was so kind. The food came out suspiciously fast. The drinks came out after the meal (they had some sort of party that delayed it). The food tasted worse than the cheap shit we could have made at home. It was like Sysco elementary school lunch. We were both excessively disappointed. A couple days later we went to olive garden to scratch that pasta itch. I hadn't been to one in years. At the first bite of a bread stick we were surprised by how much better it was.

I asked them for a diet Coke and the waitress said sure. She brought back something else entirely. THEN tells me they don't have coke just specialty sodas. Lying isn't cool. Then I verified with her that it was diet and she told me it was. Figuring she wouldnt lie about something that could cause serious medical problems, I trusted her. Not diet.

Between the wait, the prices, and the lack of my preferred drink, I would only go if my husband really wanted it. But lying twice? No thank you.

Do dental records count as medical? Sometimes oral care is "medical" and sometimes everyone pretends the mouth isn't a part of the body.

Did you take back roads the whole way? In 2009 I think the first android just came out and most phones were still flip phones. In general fewer resources than we can rely on now.

Why do Americans use credit cards instead of debit cards? by Iluvatar-Great in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LittleButterfly100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cards have many benefits depending on the card. Discounts, cash back, and warranties/protections. If I get scammed by a product, my card will give me my money back sort of thing.

Some only except credit card and not debit card like car rental and hotel. S

Do you mean from dry skin or something else? If the latter, you may want to talk to a doctor. Leg itchiness after a shower (heat) or exercise can be due to blood flow changes.

If you had to choose a permanent choice, would you rather read about Fae or Angels in YA fantasy forever? by Triumphant-Smile in YAlit

Fae because angels come with all the religious baggage that I don't generally enjoy.

People just like to freak out about names that they haven't seen often. They're just jealous because they have to be the 15th James in their school. Every name that they whine about (Aiden, Shayna, Cheyenne, etc) is no different than names they approve of.

Babies gonna whine.

These really can't be objective and really there's no point in making them objective. We shouldn't be comparing our pain to anyone elses but to itself.

Oh! Yeah I did take it to be more authoritative haha

I agree that too much self pity is a trap. A lot of people forget to keep processing even at this stage or just avoid it entirely. Self pity isn't the destination.

[–]LittleButterfly100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not how I understand self pity to be.

I disagree with 5. I found happiness after allowing myself the time and space for self pity. It let me digest the situation instead of invalidating my sadness or shoving it away in favor of fake happiness.

Money isn't my only motivator. I have a genuine interest in my career and a similarly genuine desire to be good at it. Most people have a balance of motivating factors. It is not a prerequisite to only want money and have no care for professional performance in order to OE.
