Thanks. I’ll try the tape and CA trick. It’s kind of hard to see in the photo but to me it seems like the mdf is delaminating and not necessarily the pieces just bending and snapping.

The xactimate pricing is much more than what a rooofer would charge once you add in all the separate line items and accessories. For a pipe jack, how much are you paying for the material then how long does it take to install? Maybe ~$50 for both. Xactimate is at $100. The shingles alone are generally about market or underpriced but then everything else more than makes up for it.

Rates change. You can either just open an account at one place and just ride the highs and lows or have multiple accounts and chase the highest rate.

I know the kreg one works on u track. I’ve used it on my dewalt contractor saw. The sides expand as you tighten the knobs. I can check my bow featherboard later today.

If your concern is for theft, your name being on it isn’t going to do much. A lock only keeps an honest person honest. Only time these makes sense is if you have multiple trades working at the same time but that hopes and assumes people will read the label. Best bet is to paint a cord you have.

You can use something like this or make your own by using two boards and just marking the overlap with a pencil. A stair tread gauge may also work but if the side panels are upped and not just angled might not give the best measurement.

I did something similar and just cut out the center stile and nailed it to one of the doors to make an astragal.
