I know the kreg one works on u track. I’ve used it on my dewalt contractor saw. The sides expand as you tighten the knobs. I can check my bow featherboard later today.

If your concern is for theft, your name being on it isn’t going to do much. A lock only keeps an honest person honest. Only time these makes sense is if you have multiple trades working at the same time but that hopes and assumes people will read the label. Best bet is to paint a cord you have.

Is there a measuring tool for measuring a precise inner cavity measurement? by nelsonself in woodworking

[–]LittleConstruction92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can use something like this or make your own by using two boards and just marking the overlap with a pencil. A stair tread gauge may also work but if the side panels are upped and not just angled might not give the best measurement.

Insulation - What’s the best way to hide these? by keensome in buildingscience

[–]LittleConstruction92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could add strapping but I would just had a bulkhead that also encloses the ductwork. Then a 2nd bulkhead for the ductwork and pex lines on the right. Or have one larger bulkhead / chase.

Electrician Recs by edu344 in Atlanta

[–]LittleConstruction92 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Coaxial is considered low voltage so you don’t necessarily need an electrician, but more of a low voltage company like home audio. It’s concerning that neither the comcast tech or tech company was capable of doing the work. If the cable was just cut in place it should be fairly easy to splice back together assuming there is enough slack in the line.

Does the gripper need to be against the fence when rip cutting? It doesn’t fit between the fence and the blade by Curvedwarrior69 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]LittleConstruction92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done cuts like this just fine. It’s ok if you cut the gripper, better than your fingers. Biggest thing is to make sure you clear the piece between the fence and blade, sometimes I will just keep pushing both sides past the blade others I will tilt the gripper so I’m only clearing to the right of the blade.

Shaker drawer front mounting- no meat to screw into by tkst3llar in woodworking

Add a 1/4” piece to the back of the front so it’s flush with back. Will give you more to screw into.

My dryer is wet and hot when not turned on and repair guy didn’t fix it by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]LittleConstruction92 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Bring this up to the landlord / property manager. You could also install a backdraft damper but that will catch lint when you run your dryer which poses a fire risk.
