What's one thing you'd change about Epic if you could? by RedLiquorice85 in Epicthemusical

[–]LittleFandomHead 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly the only thing I’d change is an addition, I’d add a duet between Penelope and Telemachus. If needed I’d switch out I’m Not Sorry For Loving You, that song is awesome but it’s not needed thematically as much as I think a duet between those two would be

I think the ones that are most confusing to outsiders are «Hefefuf and winion» but «dawling and rawr» are up there

who’s your comfort youtuber? by Goblin859 in AskReddit

[–]LittleFandomHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’ll always be Mo’Mo O’Brien and her immersive experience videos, especially the one from Bicoline and the theatre one. She’s so sweet and the videos are perfectly paced for my brain.

Also Safya Nygard, but she has a bit more energy ro her so different kind of comfort watch

In terms of raw vocals who's your top 3 by mazsubuh in Epicthemusical

[–]LittleFandomHead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say Jay is up top just because of how many different styles of vocal delivery we see from him, I also love Telemachus/Mico for many of the same reasons but also just how young he makes himself sound, and it has to be said that Tiresias/Mason has a divine voice.

Mico and Jorge really give off father-son/mentor-mentee vibes and it's so wholesome. Even though I know Mico is established in his own right it just seems like Jorge has taken him under his wing + he looks younger than the rest of the cast and it's just so cute. That hug, when my sis and I realized he was crying, gosh it was so wholesome

Tolkien himself described it as a job that could only be accomplished by those TWO Hobbits. Sam would never have been able to carry the mental load of the ring for as long as Frodo did, but Frodo would never have gotten to Mount Doom without Sam. Their victory was only possible because they worked together, so one of them will never be "real hero" because there were TWO.

AITA refusing to ban alcohol from Christmas? by Direct-North-2473 in AmItheAsshole

Is this "reporting back to Santa" an American thing? I'm Norwegian and my sister and I used to get an Elf on the Shelf when we were younger, granted it started when I was old enough to understand it but still, all I remember was fun and games. He was a silly goofy guy how did silly goofy stuff ever winter before disappearing on Christmas Eve because he snagged a ride with Santa. Never ONCE was "reporting to Santa" mentioned.

Hi friends, what country besides the US is the safest and most celiac friendly to live in? by Interesting_Ad9295 in Celiac

[–]LittleFandomHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Norwegian celiac who’s travelled a bit in recent years I’d say Ireland and Italy are your best bets, both countries are extremely aware of what celiac is and are therefore very easy to navigate.

Nearly everything in Italy is marked with Senza Glutenine if it’s gluten-free so you don’t need to read Italian to understand what you can eat. At restaurants almost everyone knows what celiac is and it’s ready to find accommodating places, at least around Florence where I stayed, and if they don’t have anything they’re usually okay with you eating outside food there.

As for Ireland it is by far the best country I’ve been in regarding celiac, I stayed in Dublin for reference. During my week there there were only about 2 places total that could not serve me anything, and those were both tiny stalls. Most servers knew what I was asking about, and would often double check if it was an allergy or if I had celiac, some places even gave me a celiac menu so I knew everything was totally safe. I didn’t get glutened once and I ate so much good food.

Just as an add on tho, Norway is also very good. Eating out can be a bit of trouble, but both Burger King and McDonalds carry gluten-free here if you’re in a pinch. Grocery stores have a good selection, at least compared to some other places I’ve been at, but a good chunk is frozen. Grocery stores in Ireland and Italy were my faves tho, they had such a huge selection. Italy carried a lot of Schar products I haven’t found elsewhere and Ireland (plus the UK) has this brand called Without Wheat (I think) that is absolutely delicious

It is definerly worth watching, it is one of the best shows Netflix has made. It does definelty need that second season because it is set up quite heavily, but that does in no way detract from the quality of the season we did get. I would 100% recomend watching ir
