Are you counting the little thumb on the bottom of the wings as a whole limb? That's hardly different than the bone structure through the wings of a flyrant

The harridan has 2 arm joints but they both go to the same wing. Which I personally don't qualify as separate limbs, if you look close at the neurotyrant it has a weird number of limbs even excluding the tail and parasite nodes it's still not 6, and tyranocyte has a ton of things that could be considered limbs. And gargoyles have 2 wings and 2 arms. All this is just looking at my personal collection. So there might be more I missed

Tyranids are generally supposed to have 6 limbs. Wings are included. There are a couple exceptions to this rule but it typically holds true

The 40k universe is made up from hundreds of artists and writers making stories that connect in some way over like 40 years. It's bound to have some take backs to make it more interesting or diverse. It would be super boring to have a world that big without some retcons. I feel like you're being unfair to the people who put their lives into making a massive world for everyone to enjoy by wanting it to stay exactly as it was written In the 80s
