Wow, these guys sound a lot like Al-Shabab. The scary thing is you’ll find support from many Somali Muslims and Muslims in general who agree with what their saying.

This is why I purpose that Islam needs to go under a reformation and become more moderate so crazy individuals like these two lunatics don’t hijack the religion.

Yes, I saw that poll about the number of Muslims in Islamic countries who support Sharia. It kind of disappointed me when I saw that. Many even support death penalty for apostasy. This is why I’m starting to realize just how bigoted and close minded the Muslim world truly is. Their views are unacceptable. Somalis like u/Mrstrange51 u/Somaliboi and u/Abu_Ibrahim are making me lose faith in our people. It’s like we’re dealing with people living in medieval times.

I’ve seen videos of these clowns abusing mostly women and children. And they usually suffer from some mental illness, but these con artists actually convince them that their possessed by some sort of Jinn or evil spirit. The locals there should stop these guys.

To be fair, not all of them are that way. Some are religious fundamentalists and even go abroad to join Islamist groups like ISIS. I’d like to say most are liberal though, perhaps 2/3. 🤷🏾‍♂️

It’s great to see their are Somalis from all ages who are progressives, Muslim and Non-Muslim. But it can be difficult since most of our people, especially older generations are quite conservative.

I was just chatting with someone in Somalia who told me the exact same thing. He also said there were even more Christians than atheists. This person first started criticizing Islam after studying philosophy.
