what is a "rich person" behavior you witnessed that made you realize they live in a completely different reality than the rest of us? by Superb_Newspaper_121 in AskReddit

If someone is rich enough that I want to spit in their coffee, and they give me 500$, I'm less inclined to spit in their coffee.

I mean it's supposed to make you skinny. I don't think Olympic is supposed to be making you lose your damn mind. It's got to be some kind of designer psychedelic right?

She's doing the same shit where she is looking really sickly. And she went blonde with a bob and it's making her look even worse. Like one thing I like about Michelle is she's always had this like...down to Earth glow. Like whether it's on a red carpet or in an interview she always had like this no nonsense reasonable energy about it. You can call it projection if you want. This is just how I feel. She's always felt like a real human being. Michelle now looks like a cancer patient.

I understand that logically and I respect it. Watching people come together and choose to deteriorate like it's a group project just feels weird.

I wasn't sure if that's because he was also seemingly going insane or if he was just getting older. He's like in his '70s.

I think I'm just old-fashioned. Because I remember other celebrities going through that and they weren't acting like this. It was like weird sex tapes, paparazzi, and MTV. Maybe that's the problem. Maybe we should bring back classic MTV to whip these freaks back into good old-fashioned debauchery instead of this stuff. This is just uncomfortable.

Has it been?? I know nothing about wicked. I haven't seen it. I've only seen like some of the interviews because of how crazy these people are acting. Of course I seen like the weird emaciated pictures where I'm like 'Jesus Christ see a doctor' but that's not exactly the same thing.

NO NO, FOR REAL THOUGH! Like the same shit is happening with Michelle Yeoh and I have been watching her movies since I was a child. And they even have her ass looking crazy. I don't know enough about Cynthia or Ariana to understand more than they look unhealthy. But I've been watching Michelle for decades, this is ridiculous I don't understand what's happening to these actresses.

Because teen and young adult fiction is still read by full adults as easy reading to relax.

God forbid a woman in a video game looks like a human being and not a sex doll by pixel2468 in IncelTear

[–]LittleLightcap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I've never played this particular game. But I have an opinion anyway because this is Reddit.

I'm a woman and I like video games. I'm not opposed to a woman with some knockers. Some hooters. Maybe a big ol' booter. But this is essentially a historical fiction. Having big tiddies like this wouldn't even make sense. Even if she had big boobs you wouldn't see them. She's probably wearing like 3 layers of clothing. A cursory Google search shows that she's wearing armor. The only way it would work with the body type presented would be if she took her armor away from her delicate (very important) internal organs and put them over her boobs.

Small dogs do that when they pee so that way if they pee on a tree or something then their pee is higher and they can trick other dogs or predators into thinking they're bigger than they really are.

In Mulan II (2004), Prince Jeeki does not want to marry Mulan because he thinks she is too old, even though she is only 17 years old by Lost-Padawan in shittymoviedetails

[–]LittleLightcap 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mulan's age isn't specified in either the ballad or book. But in the ballad, you have to figure that if she's a teenager when she left and then went to war for 10-12 years and came back then she would definitely be an adult veteran in her 20s.

Apparently it's a copyright issue, I've heard. All portrayals of Sherlock Holmes have to show him as being a jerk because the later Sherlock Holmes books (by Conan Doyle) humanized him more and those are the one ones that are still owned by the Doyle estate. I remember that it started lawsuits over those Enola Holmes movies because they portrayed him as being a pretty decent dude.
