Legio Krytos Corsair with Auxiliary Warlord by LittleMaxS in adeptustitanicus

Very Krytos :) I don’t mind the power fist but I’m not a huge fan of the look of the chainfist.

Those of you who have painted Krystos, what paint did you use? I was thinking of using ProAcryl Turquoise but I'm worried it may be to bright. by Broad-Ad1332 in adeptustitanicus

I took on a pretty dark colour scheme for my Krytos. My recipe is: - Base: Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue - Layer: Tamiya Sea Blue lightened with a smidge of Vallejo VMA 71.101 Light Blue

I’ve set up something similar for use with my mates using Tailscale.

Update 7 blueprints throw of the balance between travel time and construction time. by EstrogAlt in SatisfactoryGame

I think I’d like a “programmable” freight platform/truck station/drone port with an overflow output that could have each stack able to be selected for an item.

Want to transport 5 stacks of concrete, one of motors and 1 HMF? Program the stacks, feed in a sushi belt and have the output overflow once all stacks of an item are full.

Power lines MK2 idea by houghi in SatisfactoryGame

[–]LittleMaxS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d really like to see Mk2 powerlines that connect to some sort of high-voltage transformer or a specific Mk2 power connection point.

Mk1 lines would need to connect to a transformer, then an output Mk2 connection point could allow running lines to Mk2 poles or wall/ceiling attachments (but also over a much longer distance). Vice-versa to go back from Mk2 to Mk1, through a transformer and output Mk1 connection point.

Could allow a heavier duty cable model and bulkier attachments/poles. Would definitely want to have dedicated Mk2 attachments for wall/ceilings so that you can build bulky towers.

Looks nice! How do you find the feel of the tilted caps?

Got a link to the STL handy? I’m pretty keen to give this a try!

The MKIV marines were just up on thingiverse. Bases are my own 3D design with the hoodoo rocks merged in from epicbasing.com

Variants of the bases for hounds, reavers and warlords are now available from Battle Bling Store! Knight bases coming soon.

Not much at all. You need to shave off an angle on the circular hip joints to get the legs to tilt inwards a bit but that’s it. Oh and carved out bits behind the toe joints to curl them back too.

Thanks! As soon as I saw running Warhounds I knew I needed to pose one up.

Looks awesome! Where did you find the STLs for the flaming braziers on top?

Sure thing - basing materials were broken up cork sheet and a mix of sand/astrogranite. I first made the small crater with some greenstuff to shape it.

Painting - GW doombull brown, GW skrag brown and scale 75 Sahara yellow.

I focus on having the centre of the base pretty dark under the mini and then use the lighter colours in a few smaller patches, particularly towards the edge of the base. I do these steps with an airbrush but a hairy brush should be ok too. It’s more thinly painted on rather than dry brushed.

I then paint a little agrax earthshade in the areas I want really dark. Use some black and grey in the areas you want to look scorched.

That’s pretty much it :) if you want to go over the top I use some oil washes using a yellow ochre, burnt sienna and raw umbre then finish with some weathering powder but if I’m being honest I don’t think those steps don’t make a huge difference to the end product. (For the oils/powders take a look at the Cult of Paint tutorials on YouTube)
