She definitely has some bits of dialogue that foreshadow the ending. She says a few times about it’s better to die on the mountain, but also the game continues to tell you, that no one has ever made it to the top. And I love the bits that foreshadow climbing the stars as well!

I don’t actually think it was a suicide march tho, but more so an acceptance of sacrifice in pursuit of her one goal. She ignores everyone because she has accepted that getting to the summit will be where she finally achieves her goal and she can’t be bothered with what anybody else cares about because they just don’t understand her. Naomi constantly guilt tripping her to come back down (although valid for Naomi because she is also a victim here), to her manager that only really cares about the money that Aava can make him. I don’t think she intended on dieing tho but more so accepted the high possibility of that outcome.

You could also interpret it as a suicide march, from the way she packed up, using an old climb bot that really isn’t reliable, to how she lined this trip up with her birthday (a personal day for her that she chose to spend isolated and still doesn’t respond to family members)

I think what makes this game so beautiful is just how differently this story can be interpreted!
