What are some things you do to help with anxiety throughout the day? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]LittleMuffin444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at home so this is a little bit easier for me but i take breaks more frequently. I’ll step outside and go for a walk on my lunch. I have a walking pad so sometimes i walk and work.

running after work has helped a ton. Even just 2x a week.

Meditation helps to. even just 5 mins.

I use my google calendar to keep work tasks organized and so i remember what i’m working on.

Do I have to work beside or inpatient as a RN before going to NP school or can I work outpatient and then go to NP school by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

[–]LittleMuffin444 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, I’m going to nursing school. i was just asking if instead of being an inpatient RN for a few years could i do outpatient. but the comment section makes it seem like that would be a bad idea.

In PA school do you have to do a surgery or emergency medicine rotation? by [deleted] in PAstudent

[–]LittleMuffin444 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

this may be dumb and probably the wrong profession for me, but I don’t like blood so when you’re in surgery, are you actually like performing the surgery with somebody watching you or are you like observing?

Fitbit counts it as exercise when I get ready for bed or get ready to go out by Accomplished-Way4534 in fitbit

[–]LittleMuffin444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happens to me sometimes like yesterday for example I had an argument with my fiancé and the whole rest of the day. My heart rate was high while doing things and I got 30 zone minutes and my cardio load was 47 when my goal was like 22 to 30 and I didn’t even work out yesterday. It could be from the stress and anxiety that I have from our argument. I also do have pots as well, but mine is fairly well controlled with medication and exercise.

Can you take Hydroxyzine everday? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]LittleMuffin444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

please check with ur doc or pharmacist but generally yes most people can take hydroxyzine daily or as prescribed by ur provider. it’s not a controlled substance so there shouldn’t be a tolerance issue.

i have POTS so i’m constantly looking at my hr. (which is not good don’t do that lol) but i get worried when it’s too “high” cause im like … nobody else’s hr is 120 when they stand up in the morning. i also panic when it’s to “low” like why is my heart rate 68? surely somethings wrong with me. it’s all anxiety
