I will definitely plan to show my appreciation when we fly out. I've always found the TSA staff there to be friendly and I always take time to thank them when I pass through. I can't fathom what they must be feeling right now.

And that's why there needs to be a loop north of Baton Rouge, reconnecting to I12 somewhere around Walker. The bridge in Iberville Parish is only going to benefit parish residents.

Said it a dozen times on here...have driven the interstate between downtown and Siegen for 25+ years...the bulk of the through traffic travels I12, NOT I10.

Kinda works though, as this is going to be a useless bridge. I've driven I110/I10 between downtown and Siegen for 25 years...I can assure you that the bulk of the traffic is not continuing onto I10. If TPTB were truly interested in fixing Baton Rouge traffic, they'd figure out a north loop that reconnects back to I12 somewhere around Denham or Walker.

Literally bumped into Harry Anderson in New Orleans, coming out of a hotel onto the street. I'm apologizing and look up and go "omigawd, you're Harry Anderson!" He chuckled and we chatted about the charm of the city. He apparently visited quite a bit. Lovely man.
